Begged my mom for this PPV I loved it! Hulkamania was what got me watching wrestling and it's why I still watch today. While I hate now how it went down for Bret but as a kid I was pumped.

@@dabiguy77 it's my favorite because of its comic book like look of it all. It also looked epic the way Ceasars Palace was decorated. It was a crucial Wrestlemania too because it was the Golden era's end and the beginning of the New Generation era because by the end of that WM almost all the roster was gone. It was also Jr's ppv debut, luna vachon's WWF debut, and first time Scott Hall says "one more for the bad guy" after defeating Backlund.

What Conrad is not getting is that yes the fans bought their tickets for 30 bucks or whatever not expecting to see Hulk Hogan and then they announce that Hulkster is going to be there so they get more value for their $30. Many of them would’ve paid $50 if Hogan would have been on the card originally But instead they’re getting it at $30. I don’t see why this is hard to understand.

Hulk Hogan was using his political power to get his way all the time many talents were held back because of him, and he had this type of political power in both organizations Vince, McMahon, and Eric Bischoff both Gave hogan, creative control, and this is where other wrestlers didn’t get the chance to truly shine because of Hogan

I've been a WWF fan since the mid 80s. When I think back to all the great moments in history, the one that sticks out the most, the greatest in history was when I got to see Hogan live on his European Farewell Tour™ in Borneymouth, England in May 1993, just after Wrestlemania. What a moment seeing him defend the belt against Yoko, seeing him pose etc.

Macho man had great matches. I wonder if bret would of drawn as well overseas if they knew he mom was American lol. I was a huge bret fan as a toddler on dont get me wrong but If a guy charismatic as Macho who could also wrestle wasnt doing as good as him has to be a reason. I guess WWE was doing free ppv in england around this time? Could explain why bret got over more if not them not knowing he was part American lol. They saw him in more than just squash matches.

WM 9 had the best set and theme. I loved it. It actually distracted me from the card itself being really bad. Why not have Hogan chase the belt on the European tour instead of doing the BS they did??

I guess Bruce being full of crap in these episodes is what got him a job with the wwe again. Why is it so hard to say Vince decided to go back to Hulk because he was the biggest thing ever at the time, Vince lost touch because he was still in the 80s in 1993, and ratings were low?
