@@SaulAguilar.I know some smarks love CM Punk over all. But what is the connection to the chairman? This is neither a position but a gimmick this self-destructing punk ever will get.
The worst case I've seen of unintended pop is when Alex Riley was doing his "Rage" persona and thought a sign in the crowd that had "PUSH RAGE" written was meant for him, posting his gratitudes through Twitter, but it was actually for a former RU-vid Let's Play group's create-a-wrestler.
Never thought I'd see the day where Vince McMahon himself is the one being erased, giving the Chris Benoit treatment, something that he exercised and he's been given the same treatment. How crazy that in a short amount of time, history changed forever.
I don’t know how everyone is so shocked about this whole Vince situation. I’ve heard awful things about him for years, I’ve always thought it was a matter of time.
LMAO that awkward segment at wrestlemania 19 with stacy keibler and torrie wilson and the Miller lite catfight girls always makes me laugh stacy and torrie are the best and they're sweethearts in person this is coming from someone who met them a few weeks ago.
This is why physical media for wrestling shows are important to me & even though I have Peacock I still buy/collect them. It really sucks WWE stopped making physical media at the end of 2023. Thankfully AEW & TNA are still making discs though.
The music thing happens a lot, demolition for example have their music changed to a very naff generic song instead of having rick derringer, even on dvd releases.
They also edited Batista's Wrestlemania 23 entrance because he was booed so bad. There's fake cheers now and they cut out his fireworks on the sides of the stage
roddy wasn't in "blackface", he actually painted himself that way to suggest racial unity and that he fought for both white and black people. it's a nuance that's been lost over time and the racial angle of his feud with bad news was a little clumsy, but it wasn't done with ill intentions or a desire to be deliberately offensive. bad news thinks roddy was racist but nobody else seems to, and roddy always maintained that he wasn't prejudicial towards black people or anyone for that matter. the funny thing is, there have been blatant racially insensitive depictions by other wrestlers down the years that didn't result in any backlash from fans, possibly because they were of ethnicities that weren't really represented in the wwe and therefore couldn't complain like bad news did about roddy. the biggest example is all the "native american" wrestlers (although there obviously has been the odd genuine one, eg. tatanka) but another example is when triple h portrayed the "chinese doctor" hung lo in a skit in 2000, and nobody complained about scott hall's "cuban" razor ramon either. it's also worth considering that some depictions now considered stereotypical were portrayed by black wrestlers, like i don't think kamala or papa shango would really fly nowadays. weird how roddy was considered racist but all those things aren't
It's funny now that the Mickie James incident is "erased" & Vince threw a fit. Now hearing about all the misconduct that Vince has done it's like calling the pot calling the kettle black.
W one interesting, very interesting 🤔 I still didn't forget Mandy Rose slipping at wrestlemania 37 and O Niel royal rumble entrance slipped under the the ring in 2018
Piper's Pit in ( i think) wrestlemania 3 when Brother Love got his pants pulled down and showed red spandex shorts was completely erased although i believe there's footage of the original still floating around the internet.
I saw Mickie James kitty Clutch on Trish then licked her fingers. I never understood why they edited it out. It fit the story and the character perfectly
I was just talking about the Mickie James and Trish moment earlier today wit a RU-vidr lol, interesting how it pops up in this video the same day. Mickie James never regretted that and it solidified her as an Icon.
That's right Dana, the only way you can ever get a crowd to pop for you is if there is a funny mishap. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know...
I also recall Wrestlemania XIII's match between LOD/Ahmed Johnson VS. Nation Of Domination had to be edited due to the use of a rope that looked like a noose. I don't know if it's on the WWE Network or not, but one WWE DVD had the noose spots edited out.
The thing that gets me Is if he was so mixed up In the head why didn’t he Cause harm to another wrestler Or a complete stranger but Kill his wife and son 🤔🤔💀
Seeing that image of Chris Benoit with his son breaks my heart. My eyes want to tear up. Benoit is still on my Mt. Rushmore of favorite wrestlers of all time, but I can never forget or forgive what he did. Truly horrifying.
Music rights and licensing is already weird no matter what era they are in. WWE edited out full concerts of KISS and other bands during Monday Nitro, but when a wrestler like the KISS Demon came out, the songs played are kept intact for the WWE Network for some odd reason!
The American the beautiful song that was playing before the main event of mania 14 was completely traumatizing it was very bad they didn’t need a band at all.
What's crazy is that now Vince McMahon is the one being erased from his in ring appearance's and possibly erased from history, although I don't know how that's actually possible, but will see, that's what they are trying to do and aiming for the end result.
