That was a cool detailed interview with the super star Keegan! That's great he said several times about how you have to love wrestling in order to do it well. So true that we all need to find what we are passionate about and pursue it fully and it's obvious through Keegan's rigorous training and the dominant way he performs in many matches that he loves the challenge and grind of it. That's cool one of my questions was answered. It's great and somewhat amusing that he was in such control at that point, he was thinking about Instagram and getting a good pic for you to capture as well. Keegan's got a lot of confidence and lots of talent, but is also obviously a good sport and a nice guy as the rest of his answer displayed how thoughtful he is about others as well. I said this before, but I noticed in a few wrestling matches that I photographed, that the wrestlers clearly intentionally made sure to make eye contact with the camera and I think that's great as it shows they are feeling comfortable and confident in how the match is going and of course, it makes for great pics! That was hilarious how the athletic trainer acted and Keegan's response. Haha. Couldn't quite figure out the words he said in the joke he made in the last clip at the end?
And thank you for the great question! I did actually ask the question during the interview, and while I originally intended to include it in the final video, the editing and production took so much longer than expected that it no longer made the cut since he had already announced his college commitment. Sorry about that!
@@MidwestWrestle No worries, sir. I knew it was a time-sensitive question considering he could be announcing any day now. I also didn't want to put him on the spot in case he was still weighing his options - that's why I asked what his top 3 programs would be. Appreciate your commitment to quality!
Keegan has an amazing charisma & an even more amazing personality. (He's an OK wrestler, too. lol) He will further gain the respect of many people who will be attracted to his sheer decency. The world awaits you, Keegan!
Damn...Wish you a speedy recovery Keegan, you are crazy talented! You can tell you were raised well too man, polite and humble. Hope to see you slamming fools again soon.

"A slam is lifting and returning an opponent to the mat with unnecessary force. This infraction may be committed by a contestant in either the top or bottom position on the mat, as well as during a takedown. A slam shall be called without hesitation."
@@MidwestWrestle thanks, quite new to this and we don't really have anything other than "professional wrestling" here in the UK. Amazing to watch though.
@@ViTo_DEE Welcome to the channel and to the exciting sport of American folkstyle wrestling. Here are a couple of websites to help you learn the rules. The first is a very quick read, and the second is a little more detailed. staffordhighlanders.com/wrestling-rules-made-simple/ www.indeewrestling.com/folkstyle-wrestling-rules/
It's nice to see someone accept responsibility for his failures. Saying he didn't practice enough or had the wrong attitude. Nowadays everyone seems to make excuses and try to blame others. I'm so sick of it I could scream. To see someone "man-up" is so refreshing. Kudos to you Keegan.
He is an amazing young man, not just as an athlete but as a human being. he seems very mature, level-headed, and kind-hearted. I was surprised his Instagram seems to have disappeared. His Work out one is still, up but his original personal account looks gone. Does anyone know what's up with that? He's going to kill in college.
I'm glad you took your time working on this! The tone you guys chat with each other makes the interview reach a great connection level that we can totally enjoy. Nicely blended later at editing to keep a good rhythm. Hey, is there an email address where I can reach you?
LMAO I had to go back and look a couple times. When you said "clear frames" I thought you meant he had no lenses in his eyeglasses or they didn't have a prescription. Finally it dawned on me you meant the frames themselves were a clear color! 🤣
Yea and they can all use a good haircut! They look like they have a dust mop on their head or look like little orphan Annie! There USED to be regulation hair and nail length way back in MY day. But it always seems to be something. I remember like around 15/20 years ago when the thing was for many wrestlers to bleach their hair blonde. And it make some of them look like circus clowns!
A point that so badly needed to be made @ 32:36 that all the Coaches (Yes! Coaches!) and mouths on the sidelines so badly need to hear and absorb into their brains!
I think its shockingly admiral that you have devoted your entire life to wrestling. And it will all end after college, But, you will have a degree in P,E.plus you will only be 23. Think about this, take a year off and clear your head for future. Think of your options .Well, did you ever think of going into acting?.or even doing sports on tv. Hey, you have the looks, personality, and drive th Xcel in that field. I've been a singer and a actor all my life as you have wrestling. I live in manhattan, give it a try. Listen you always can take breaks at your lake house. At least you will have something to fall back on. Just, try it. It you have to fo it while your young. Good luck.PEACE.
He needs to be a little careful there. I live not too far from you and I know of SEVERAL guys who 'devoted their entire life to wrestling' and even get permission NCAA to wrestle for 2 additional years. Then they find themselves at 24 or 25 with a college degree with some 'general studies' major and can't find a good job. There is one I know where I followed his career since he won the 8th grade states. He ended up working for Fed Ex or UPS or something like that doing manual labor. Last I heard, he was taking classes to become a real estate appraiser. I read an interview with him where he said when people asked him what he majored in he always replies 'wrestling.'
