I went to uni in Coventry! I always root for you when you play, and hope you get back on your feet as a team. I lived on vine Street for a few years, too! All the best Cov fan ❤️
Never encourage pitch invasions but Wrexham is such class that no one is in danger or gets hurt. The players and fans are one. Amazing to see the connection that’s been formed with the supporters and the team.
also a Newcastle fan, Wrexham are my 2nd favourite team (and also the one closest to me, as I live in North Wales), its been a very good day today. Dreading the day Wrexham make it to the prem and I have to start rooting against them (twice a year anyway, I'd still want them to beat any other team that isn't Newcastle)
I've been a Barcelona fan since I was a little girl, now this is making me emotional in a similar way than when we won the last treble. Guess I'm a Wrexham fan now as well. ♥ Hugs from Colombia.
Unbelievable! What a great journey again this season. I am from Holland Eindhoven. A PSV fan but also a Wrexham fan! What a great club you have. And a great supporters. Congratulations.
Congrats from New Jersey! This club’s journey is amazing to watch , and man am I jealous! The team Im a fan of is in the gutter and has been for some time, but I remember the feeling of them reaching the mountaintop and it’s the best feeling in the world. I could not be happier for the club and the town of Wrexham getting to experience this back to back!
Last season, after Wrexham made it out of the National League, I posted that it would be great for them to get promoted again next (this) season. I was told "THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN!!!". Congrats Wrexham. Congrats to the fans who have stuck with them through the bad years!!
It does happen sometimes: 1990 & 1991 Darlington (but relegated straight back down in 1992) 1993 & 1994 Wycombe Wanderers 1997 & 1998 Macclesfield Town (relegated straight back down in 1999) 2003 & 2004 Doncaster Rovers 2005 & 2006 Carlisle United 2008 & 2009 Exeter City 2010 & 2011 Stevenage 2011 & 2012 Crawley Town 2015 & 2016 Bristol Rovers 2018 & 2019 Tranmere Rovers (relegated back down in 2020) 2023 & 2024 Wrexham
Congratulations WREXHAM for winning two promotions in less than a year. First back to the EFL as 2022-23 National League champions and now moving their way up to League One for next season!!
From a loyal Kiwi footy fan for the past 5 years will Welsh heritage we have come a long way Fricken awesome your bloody marvelous congrats and lest go Wrexham
Well done Wrexham, fantastic achievement, from a Port Vale fan, just sorry we won't be playing you next season because we will be swapping places with you 😭
An amazing result for the Team. Been watching progress from New Zealand. Congrats. Have an awesome day!💥From Fun At Home (Hot Wheels, Lego, Cards, Stamps & collectables)☮
Thank you very much, the thing is one of my favourite movies and I hope that that never ever happens to anyone that lives all the way out there! Up the antarctic living, wrexham loving fans!
I'm a Pompey fan and can remember Wrexham with Mickey Thomas,Dixie Dean,Dai Davies and Robbie James (?). I remember back in the day four Welsh teams in the English football league...Wrexham, Newport County,Swansea City and Cardiff City.
Pompey fan here too. Spent my boyhood in Wrexham, first live match watched at the Cae Ras. Lived within earshot of the ground in Rhosddu. Happy to see what’s happening there now
Class scenes. This is what football is about gave me goosebumps and I'm a Geordie I couldn't care less about Wrexham. Seriously though good luck next year. Enjoy the ride.
There's a video on here from the hallowed ground that is St James' Park if you look hard enough. I was there when you taught Man City how to play 2 seasons ago. Up the toon down the mackems! 😄
This is where it’s going to start to get difficult for the manager. Some of the players that have got them to this point, won’t be able to go much further. There isn’t much difference in quality between National League and league two, but league one is a definite step up. For Wrexham to keep pushing on and become a contender for promotion to the championship, I’d say a significant number of the squad wouldn’t be able to play at championship level. It’s going to be an interesting challenge for the manager to bring in league one level talent without upsetting the momentum and squad cohesion.
@@MathewWaller-hx6kb yeah I think they’ll be OK in league one, my point is that it’s going to get harder to maintain the same squad. Some of the players in the squad just won’t be up to championship standard or even upper level of league one. It’s going to be a challenge to maintain the momentum and consistency when he’s gonna have to make changes.
