So often as guitar players we experience wrist pain - tendonitis, maybe even carpal tunnel syndrome just from that repetitive motion. There are so many muscles at play that injuries are highly likely.
I got this product to review and I dig it so I'm sharing it with you. I went into trying these without wrist pain, but I can see how they could help so many guitarists. They aren't just for guitarists, pianists and drummers can benefit from using them as well.
These wrist grips almost give you an added strength. They offered an incredible amount of stability to both my picking and fretting hand. I can't explain it but I felt like I fatigued less and had more stamina. They just made me feel more stable. I think you'll notice a difference in using these wrist grips.

I've been using these for years. Would have stopped playing without them. Compression works.

I suffer from carpal tunell and I've tried man different ways to reduce pain in my wirsts including switching to the lowest gauges of strings on acoustic and electric guitar. Then I saw your Wristgrips review and I bought a pair before the video was over. Fiinally got my wristgrips and I couldn't be happier! I feel increased strength in both my wrists after wearing them and doing exercise in just past few days. I feel more confront and assertive on guitar again. Thank you!

I have arthritis which usually doesn’t bother my wrists for guitar playing- but I started getting tendonitis in my left (fretting hand) thumb and wrist last October, and it was really stopping me from playing much... I tried total guitar rest for weeks at a time, then it would flare up again as soon as I started playing. Finally I heard of these wrist grips and gave them a try- (thanks Vic and Tony P!) It’s just like they said, very supportive and comfortable. It kind of braces your wrist so you don’t bend at a wrong angle, and it supports the joint so you don’t have to tense up and over exert to play. Short story is, yes it helps very very much and I would highly recommend it if you have any kind of hand/wrist issues.

I assume these are the "NewGrips" bands, under a different name? I got mine several years ago when my neck issues were giving me problems with stiffness and weakness in my hands. Now, after a couple injuries to my right palm/heel of my hand, combined with switching to bass and ignoring the good advice on proper bass plectrum technique (which I didn't use all that much anyway, but it apparently doesn't take much for a 45 year old after 30 years of playing) along with using knives for hours on end (specifically using a thumb push-cut to carve wood), my right CMC/basal joint has my thumb in agony. After trying all the braces and compression straps, I just dug out one of my Grips bands, and so far it seems to help, simply by applying a little compression to the area of my wrist just below the CMC basal joint, specifically with the metal loop.

I have wrist pain from playing saxophone that has forced me to stop playing, take physiotherapy. I bought these. I hope that once I get back to playing that they will help.

Nerves being pinched where the arm crosses the sharp edge of the lower bout of guitar down from the elbow.

One of my biggest fears is that I will reach a point in life where arthritis, along with other familial hand issues, will make playing guitar next to impossible. I already have carpal tunnel so I try to be careful. The usual wrist supports for carpal tunnel are not player friendly! So I ordered a set of these straps. Time will tell if they help, but I can say I don't have any wrist mobility issues wearing the straps.
