The velvet underground is an experience, Lou reed is just a genius in my opinion ( of course moe john and the others were talented too ) and the capo on the 5 is a classic

Musically great, spot-on, but I think thematically/lyrically the Velvets would not have been so optimistic.

I have never heard anything by The Velvet Underground... Guess I should check them out.

Maybe this is just me, but I got more of a Dave Matthews Band vibe rather than Velvet Underground. It's kinda weird to describe, but even their happier-sounding songs still have some elements that give them a tinge of sadness in that trademark Velvet Underground style. Still a great song though! I enjoyed it!
