If I bought a car that was written off, and get it comprehensive insurance for it, not that I am planning to but if I get in an accident and it is not my fault, can w get a full money back? For example if it is £3000 will I be able to get that £3000 back ? even though the previous owner has done it in the past
some would deem all this a waste, insurers are too quick to write cars off, wee bumpCat C Cat D Cat C people overreact and send cars off to breakers, ive seen more cars in a breakers yard that are less than 10 years old. some only 4 not a mark on them, cos to explensive to repair, modern cars. are.cheap to make expensive to buy CRAP. yeah its S And N Now, but identical to C and D likke you say
@@CarVeto I looked hard at the V5 today of a car I was interested in but couldn't find the Cat N anywhere. The owner had just changed the private registration to the original reg 3 weeks ago, so maybe it doesn't show on the renewed V5?? Is there a specific place on the V5 where it should be shown? Tnx
I have a 69 plate Ford I had an accident which was just panel damage and buckled suspension. It was repaired good as new. So now what is my car a category or is as good as I brought it. Thanks!
Can cat B cars legally be used for none road going purposes?, for example banger racing? If they meet the required standards for the intended purpose of course.
Actually, I am unsure. If it is not on public highways it may be ok. I guess you can check with the banger racing club to see if it's acceptable and within their safety/risk assessments.
