The long awaited rebuild of the A5 black edition is finally finished and its the moment of truth as I take this insurance write off to get an M.O.T. What does it take to pass a salvage car through inspections to get it road legal again? Give this video a watch to find out and see how i got on!

I bought this car as my first salvage car rebuild, and there was no information on whether the car would start or not. Hopefully i will take you through the process of ' How to rebuild a salvage car from start to finish ' in this series.
This being my first time, i'll probably make mistakes along the way so you don't have to on your first rebuild!
There are plenty more projects coming up including motorbikes, quads, and definitely more cars!
I'm also interested in mercedes, VW, and BMW's so there may be rebuild projects for these in the future.

Thanks man appreciate it! Yeah it's always been one of my favourites, the coupe just looks too good but yeah german engineering isn't easy haha

@@PeakPatrick But the final result always pays off.. usually when done doesnt asks for much attention just basic maintenance..thats why I like them. Your one looks great..

had a wrx myself, could'nt believe how slow it was standard, was 380bhp when i sold it and that was alot of fun. great work on the audi though

so I'm looking at a Cat S hot hatch, no info on autotrader post, so I am thinking of using Car vertical to see first, then call the private seller to see what was done. Is this a good idea though? How much can you get off the price do you think?
