microtropes (I think these count?): 1- showing love but the other character doesn't recognize it as love. EX: character A making food for character B, making the bed, making sure the car is started and gas full, their favorite mug always ready, coffee always made, bathroom clean, waiting to watch a show, knows their food and drinks orders, buys something without asking and its just there waiting for character B to use (like B complaining about something they need and next day its there because A just bought it) etc 2- sharing interests. this can be known or quietly done. EX: character A starts taking classes and watching videos to learn things so they can have conversations and do things character B likes 3- forehead kisses, head kisses, pinky holding, nose scrunching ear pulling during friendly/flirty moments 4- writing/drawing each other or having secret photos of the other 5- fast and engaged, sometimes thoughtful responses during in-person and digital conversation 6- friendly but not mean teasing as flirting 7- character is heard crying or having nightmares, other characters comes in to silently offer comfort 8- making efforts to better themselves for the other person 9- large meddling, found family

So I know you plan to publish this regardless of what happens with the contest, what if you did an easter egg to this book in one of your other series like Finn and Ari did a book recommendation for someone and they described this novella as something to start with👀
