At my local bakery, as a child and until now, I used to watch them write on their cakes and was amazed. It’s definitely something about the piping bag and the fluidity. Here I am 24 years later, an artist and a graphic designer.
Please think positively. People must have hit the dislike button for a reason. Maybe one reason which is so obvious is the fact that this chef's apron has touched the icing. 😂😂😂
I like when he leans back to take a look and when you can see his hands making slight motions before he actually starts to pipe. You can tell hes planning it all out in his head and then brings it to life. A real artist!
I'm like 😱😱😱 how good Calligraphy........ He is writing really beautiful on cake imagine him writing on a book. It will look really good.. Like if you think so!!
This was beautifully done. I must say he did that with a just a small icing bag an not even a lot of icing in the bag. I’ve seen many waste so much product on way smaller projects.
Sometimes writing with icing or gel is easier. I'm a cake decorator and I can write on cakes just fine (nowhere near this guy's skill tho!) but I struggle to write legibly with a pen or pencil. I struggle with fine motor skills but using an icing bag is closer to a gross motor skill thing since you use your hand and arm more than your fingers.
You are creatively masterful at writing on this cake making it absolutely Gorgeous! I'm fascinated just watching you! All I can say is Wow!!! Bless your heart for making a plain cake into one that this person and family will remember for years to come ...
Wow I'm impressed and depressed at the same time. I ordered my mom a birthday cake a few weeks back and all they had to do was put an "M" on it, nothing outrageous. It was so crappy, it honestly looked like it was done by a child learning to write. We got the excuse...sorry we we felt rushed. 😒 I wish our bakeries would put that much effort into making a gorgeous cake as he did. It's absolutely stunning and made me jealous. Beautiful work!!!
This was really amazing how professionally he wrote it with a really wonderful calligraphy I am flattered and I must say he has a very good writhing. Just came after watching channel cake art.
WOW! How his pressure control with making the line go from thick to thin, is truly amazing. A true artist at work. I have never seen someone write with a pastry bag this well. KUDOS!
