Again, you are the master of B-roll. I like how you don’t treat is as filler, but as a way to highlight, juxtapose and connect the more heterogeneous parts of our culture. Great to have another episode out.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this episode so please leave a comment below. Also, please consider becoming a patron to support the next episode in the series (link in the description). Thank you.
Long overdue, where have you been?! Another great episode. Please keep them coming! Also, just wondering, do you use an external mic for these street interviews?
it just goes to show there's almost no one in London that you see walking around where it's been easy for them and it's just plain sailing. btw regards to your father who I worked with in the same team as in a certain bank around Aldgate East area of London many, many years ago.
You can't imagine how valuable these interviews are for people from other countries like myself. It's just a delight to be able to have a glance at your culture like this. That's true cultural exchange (one-sided but still). Thank you for your work, Pablo, I hope you never stop.
People are so interesting . Everyone has a story. We live in a society that has lost human connection. No one interacts. People look the other way rather than make eye contact. These videos are fascinating. People are fascinating. If you just take the time to connect you are rewarded with such great stories
@@Onlinesully yes I agree. I think there is still time for the Jamaican guy to fulfill his dreams of becoming a fashion designer, I champion him from afar
Absolutely fantastic! A wonderful, almost lucid like, reminder that the world IS still full of authenticity and uniqueness. Incredible to see people living their life as they see fit doing the things that bring them the purest type of happiness. Keep it up! ❤
You found some very interesting men in this episode. My high school discipline master always said, “I used to complain I had no shoes until I met a man with no feet”. It resonates through theses stories.
You meet some beautiful humans. I wish I had the confidence to initiate conversations with strangers, imagine how many more stories and connections would enrich my life. Thanks for these videos dude 🤟
It’s great to watch another video from you after what seems like an age! You were very responsible for getting me into photography with those wonderful videos from so many years ago! I live in Atlanta and visited London in November of 2019. I texted you and purchased a ticket for an opera you were performing in, which was my first opera! It was excellent but made me sad that I never saw one before as I enjoyed it so much! I hope you are well and also your beautiful wife and I truly hope you will continue making videos. Perhaps more photography oriented??? Sean
please continue these. they are such a novel bookmark in the current times. these videos will be so awesome to look back at in the future. great work, and thank you for sharing.
Have so missed your videos. They always bring me a sense of comfort, especially when anxious and unable to fall asleep. A wonderful part of the Internet. Sending many thanks.
Another great thought provoking video. Great to have you back, its been too long. The Poet is on another level. Super intelligent. You find the most interesting people. Keep the videos coming 👍
A lovely surprise to see this pop up. I normally cull creators who stop producing, just to keep my favourites under control, but I kept yours as I knew it would be worthwhile if/when you reappeared. I feel the older gentlemen summed up this whole episode with his comment about not judging people. It would be easy to make judgements about the people featured, but by remembering that everyone has their own path to follow and their own dreams (floating down the Thames in a dumpster) we learn to listen and appreciate the diversity and richness of life.
The man who was put into care as child, had a very moving story, as did the man who was formerly homeless. Sometimes in midst of our own suffering, we lament about how horrible the world is, and how that gives us the right to be mad at everything and everyone (at least I do) and yet we have these two men who in spite of everything they've been through, come across so humane and positive. It's very inspiring. Thanks for this.
I absolutely LOVE your videos mate. And somehow the people you choose to speak to....dont know how to explain this but listening to them somehow brings me peace
Other stories are things i love, different point's of views everywhere, you not alone and your truth is not the only one Much love❤ Cant wait for more my friend
So glad your back love your work, it kinda reminds me of my favourite documentary series the "Up Series" by Michael Apted if you haven't seen it it is an absolute must.
It's great to see this series back! You've got a real knack for talking to people, Pablo, teasing out these musings from them but in a way which gives them the space to express themselves. I'm not currently in a position to become a patron, but things should balance out soon, and then I fully intend on becoming one if I can. Good luck to you, in all that you do. Thank you for making this series.
I think I've only ever seen one or two videos of yours that were camera reviews. I thought based on the title "Oh wow I guess he writes poetry now?" and then for the first few seconds thought it was just going to be an interview with the poet and then you asking for a poem (which still would've been neat), but wow - these interviews are so human! It's great to see how vulnerable people are willing to be with each other. Thank you for sharing.
I gave a smile when I saw your video come up today. Thank you for taking to the streets again and finding such interesting people. You have such a talent for bringing out the best.💕
Pablo, I really have to say how incredible your videos are! They just flow like water, seem effortless and that's the subtil Evidence that they are f**king Brilliant! In our times when Individuality is dismissed by the system you prove the world wrong, there is still (deep) Life in all of us! Such a treasure to find out a new video from you... Can't thank you enough and keep up the good work! Cheers
Hi Pablo, as always I'm really thankful for your work on this project. So often it is given me great inspiration. Thank you continuing to share this work. Every time I see an episode I'm reminded just how important this kind of art is. Sending you thanks at 1:42am (currently living out of a car for the second week on the road somewhere in Alabama US)
How do you make enough money writing poems? Beats me but good luck to him. I love how frank people are. The chap who was adopted seemed a top bloke. Sort of man I could sit and have a pint with.
These videos are so beautiful the way it explore so many different people's perspectives, everyone has their own story. Thank you for putting it together and on to RU-vid.
i love your videos so much that I'm going to wait till this evening to watch this, with a cup of tea , and I'll probably rewatch it a few times. quality channel ! big love from france ♥️
