The fact that the students were not allowed to show their parents really tells you that the school knew what they were doing and they knew parents wouldn’t approve
@@zencronimax7636 If nothing happens it is pointless. The fact it got to the point it did is damn near too late. The teachers should be fired and so should the school board. There's been enough talking. It's way past due for action.
How did the post get 108 likes?!?!?? This post doesnt even make sense. If nothing happens then the mayor FAILED to do what he was supposed to do as a leader LMAOOO
And bodycams on teachers and principals as well The parents should have full and complete access to the camera footage or streaming, any time they want. If the cameras "malfunctions" there should be a complete and immediate investigation as to why and what happened. People demand ( as retired 25 year law enforcement officer I completely agree) the same for law enforcement as they should.
Idk about that one chief. Look at China. Never a good thing increasing cams. I don’t agree with the bullshit the school boards are doing but cameras are not a good option IMO.
@@chodeoriki4113 The good far outweighs the bad in this case. Why would you not want to be able to view classrooms and teachers while they are teaching your children? I am not just thinking about CRT or any other irrelevant propaganda being taught in classrooms but also from a safety perspective. Imagine a child claims a teacher was inappropriate in the class now we video evidence of actually happend. If the teacher is guilty then we have concrete evidence. If it just a BS claim by a student against a good teacher then we have that. If the children are unruly or violent, etc. Perhaps you can enlighten me as to the downsides of cameras in the classroom or body cams. because I certainly don't see one. I can honestly say that the body cam I wore not only protected me from false accusations in more than one case and it could be argued that it made me a more aware and professional in dealing with the average citizen as well as criminals. As you should expect from law enforcement. Why not the same for basically a stranger that spends hours every day with your child?
Maybe instead of cameras in classrooms there should be conversations at the dinner table; how out of touch are these parents that their children weren't coming to them knowing this book is wrong? Are these parents not engaged with their kids? My kids would definitely tell me about this book the first time they saw it,, what is up with the parents in this town I don't get it?
Well I looked the book up because this upset me and I get why they said not to take it home because you fill it yourself and it’s personal like a dairy but it shouldn’t be at school either. This is just an error by the school but the book seems nice to be honest and ppl overreact to what what I essentially think is a book that the school seemed nice for youth but had some weird questions that makes me think the target consumer was adults. Not overall this is not what the books about it’s just a tiny faction.
@anthony diaz I saw the questions, it wasn't literature. There is nothing being taught about sex you friggin moron. It is seeds of immorality such as sexual depravity, drug and alcohol addiction, and murder being planted in young kids minds in the name of "liberal arts." You don't even have kids 100percent if you think this is ok. Take your liberal nonsense elsewhere. Parents don't want this immorality being taught to their kids and even the principal said it was inappropriate. You're a sick individual pal, seek help.
@anthony diaz So I guess in your mind, that if you had to read explicit literature in the 9th grade, it's all okay. All that means is that it's been going on for far too long. What a piss poor excuse.
@anthony diaz Won't allow me to post links but if you know how to use the internet you should be able to find what you are looking for. I saw the questions. I saw what they were wanting kids to write about. If you didn't and decided to comment that is your fault. If anyone is rushing to judgement it is you b/c you don't even know what this story is about. The Mayor of this city in Hudson Craig Shubert delivered them an ultimatum after consulting with a Judge. Resign or be charged. You're quick to dismiss it without even knowing literally anything, now kick rocks and again take your liberal nonsense elsewhere.
@@johnthomas1422 I asking for names.. this is the school board so clearly it didn't occur with them present.. these people need to be outed and teachers need to see their actions have consequences if they play along with an unruly board.
It's not that a book slipped by, that's almost understandable. The issue is the teachers knew what that book said, embraced it, taught it, hid the content from the parents and probably got off on the kids homework. That school board allowed that culture to perpetuate and that's the real.problem. they and the teachers need to do some jail time, bunch of pedophiles.
lol it didn't "slip by the eyes" of anyone... the teachers were administering this and they saw it repeatedly as they were doing so. it was approved of and willfully disseminated, it didn't "slip by" anyone
@@vbgsantander LMAO think about the mental gymnastics you are doing here... if you are a teacher and you claim you don't know the curriculum being taught to your students... you are not teaching, you are doing something else.
@@vbgsantanderand if that's the case, then the teachers are willingly going along with something they likely know is wrong, going along with something that is being pushed by the administrators, and claiming they "didn't know about it" is an even worse problem than if they just admitted i had to go along with it or i would lose my job, or if they were just honest and admitted they don't see a problem with it.
@@jp92382 well it they where given an assigned task to give out the book for students to fill out. A book that was okayed by their superiors. And you then blame them for not blowing the whistle? I agree that they should but I would rather that whistleblowers where encouraged then that following orders was. But in reality it don’t work like that right? And still I think they should say if they think it’s wrong so why do you think I’m not agreeing when I said so? Yes we agree it should have been seen before this happened so what’s the issue or do I just want to argue for the sake of it? Or did you just appoint me as supreme counselor of the opposite side of yours? And for argues sake not everyone thinks like us which I understand and I can’t see where the actual teacher’s says they didn’t see it but the board said it was missed. Mic drop 🎤
It's gotten plenty of visibility, here in Ohio where it happened. It's been covered extensively in the local papers, television, and internet. But why bother, especially when you may encounter facts, logic, and reason.
@@brianthrasher2982 the only ‘facts’ I see are you trolling this videos comment section with multiple accounts, which I cannot see the ‘logic’ behind, but it does seem that you are trying to ‘reason’ with the masses on what is acceptable for their children to consume.
Kids no more than you know. Like you didn't know more than your parents thought you knew when you were young. And, why doesn't that mayor know what's going on in his own village 😂
@Rudy Rufin it’s not school’s responsibility to talk about sexual content with kids. When you are telling a minor child to hide adult content from their parent or guardian there is something wrong with this scenario. You either don’t have kids or you have no problem with inappropriate things like this, either way you maybe part of the problem if you aren’t part of the solution.
We people elect these useless officials. They need to open their eyes and do the job they were elected to do. We need to read between the lines. We need to look aroind every coners. Protect our most prized our legacy. Stand
This news channel sounds like their upset with the parents. Fyi - the JUDGE said it was child pornography. . Why this news organization is leaving that part out is Disgusting.
The judge is a domestic relations judge. She also stated this would never appear in her courtroom, so she DID NOT want to offer an opinion on it's legality. Why was that left out?
“A book intended to prepare students for college.” How big of a degenerate would you have to be to be willing to say that about the text in question at all, let alone on the air
If I need a camera in my truck in order to monitor my driving habits as a professional driver, it makes sense for teachers to have to record their classes.

Not allowed to take textbooks home, says it all. The comment near the end "I demand that cameras be pplaced in every classroom" should be enacted. A parent and taxpayer should be able at any time to see what is being taught in the schools
Most parents are cowards and use schools as babysitters. Teachers and faculty are aware of this, and take advantage of the fact that most parents are asleep at the wheel and will do nothing if/when they abuse their children. So, although I certainly won't deny that teachers and faculty are to blame, parents don't want to take their fair share of the blame, so don't go wafting those farts too vigorously. If it takes something like this to make you believe that teachers and faculty in public schools don't really care or pay attention, then you haven't been paying attention for the past couple decades...
I think my mother in law is going to finally start understanding my we homeschool. All I have to do is send her ALL the links of ALL the videos of the nasty things these schools are doing.
Just the fact that SOMEONE/S actually WROTE those questions means that THE AUTHORS should be found and charged as well. Also, THE TEACHERS who thought that it was okay to teach this and not report it to their principals AND telling children NOT TO TELL PARENTS is so egregious that it should be a firing offence.
The authors are not liable. The person that told the students not to tell parents is really at fault. It shows intent to conceal something illegal. Like many things the egregious part isn't what they did, it's that they tried to hide it.
I am currently a junior in college to become a teacher and this is disgusting. Ironically we are on the topic of ethics and these people are a joke. Whats even worse is when you are a teacher, you sit down and discuss the curriculum with other teachers or even the principal to further help students. These teachers did nothing. I'd sue everybody I could and put my kids elsewhere. Or homeschool if I could.
I think you’re confused. Students were never “taught” anything inappropriate. They took a course meant for adults that gave them a book of 642 writing prompts. Around ten of those prompts were not appropriate for students their age, so they were never assigned to students and basically ignored. I don’t see anything wrong with that
@@carter4396 You're not not going to get through the impenetrable wall of ignorance in the comments. People watch a RU-vid video and believe they have all the facts to make a well informed determination. Did you know the average adult reading level is only at the seventh to eighth grade in the USA? When I initially read that I thought that cannot be true. Now I feel that may be too generous.

Why did this news network cut what the Mayor of Hudson said? He clearly stated that he has already talked to a judge about this and agrees and the board will be charged if they do not resign.
How about the obvious question. Where did these materials come from? What sick publishing company released them? Why aren’t they also held accountable?
Anyone have the full vid link? Can’t seem to find it. That mom at the table destroyed them and I want to show her full minute to a few others. She’s a hero!
Put cameras in all classrooms .. if cops have ware them so should teachers they are left alone fot months on end with the most vulnerable and impressionable ... this shit has to stop
If you wouldn't allow your student's parents to sit in on a class whenever they wish, you're probably doing something to their kids you know they wouldn't like. CAMERAS IN CLASSROOMS, NOW! And hold teachers responsible right along with board members.

The intro did say the book was used to prepare students for college. So you are correct; those would be 17-18 years old and nearly adults. I don’t think we can consider them children. Parents will have no input on the college material, so maybe this issue is not so important after all. I am interested to know at what age the parents plan to back off and allow their children to become adults?
I'm a leftist and I think this situation with this book was appalling. Not sure why you think leftists would hold a different view on something like this. 🤔 we are not depraved, genderless, porn-hungry Medusa's like you rightards seem to think we are.
I'm a teacher and I say microphones on every single teacher. Too many teachers/unions will feed parents horror stories about their kids being watched or some scare tactic so ok then, microphone every single teacher. Cheaper, less likely to "break" and parents can listen in at work, home, when driving etc or to hell with it, have cameras and an audio feed too. I'm not sure of the mechanism but it should be easy to set up. I have nothing to hide so no problem. If I refuse, you should fire me.
No, currently they are not resigning. So i'm guessing charges will be filed soon. They didn't show the part of the clip where the mayor says he's already had the material reviewed by a judge and that a case can be made.
@@killman369547 I saw another clip where the Mayor said that he had already had the material reviewed by a judge. I hope they don't resign and they all get thrown in jail. But then what about the teachers who used this material? Any teacher that used this book, whether they used the sex questions or not should also be fired and their teaching credentials revoked.
The parents should thank the Principal for his apology. Then, they should bring legal suit against the school board/teachers responsible. That board must be replaced with one that is transparent and in line with the parents' view on how their children should be educated.
Oh my lord. If it wasn’t for the comment about “not bringing it home to parents” I would assume someone glanced at the cover and assumed they would be innocent writing prompts. But they knew exactly what they were distributing.
I wrote a book lately. Would I recommend to children? No. Not kids under 18. Now, there’s a thing out there. It’s called “Parental Guidance”. Meaning kids shouldn’t read inappropriate books without their parents approval.
Teachers should be monitored at all times these days and audited every month for their behavior and how they handle the kids. The kids should also be monitored.
