The summer is over and you are starting a new school year. You might be excited or nervous. Maybe even a little scared. When you walk into the classroom, you might feel a little lost surrounded by a sea of desks.
But you are more than a number.
You are a person.
So, what do you want your teacher to know about you?
You could write about your hobbies and interests. Or maybe you want to write about your food, your favorite TV show, your favorite music, or you favorite book. Maybe you want to share your favorite vacation spot.
Or maybe you want your teacher to know about your story. You could write about your family or your culture. You could write about your beliefs. You could share what makes you happy or what makes you sad. What you love and what breaks your heart about the world.
Or maybe you want to explain something about who you are as a student. What’s your favorite subject? How do you learn best? What are your geeky interests?
So, with that in mind, what are five things you want your teacher to know about you? Make a list.
