Writing to market can be a powerful tool and I think it's been the standard for those in the traditional space for a long time, if not since the start. With that said, since it reached the general populace it has saturated the market with copies upon copies of each other. I have my reservations regarding the write-to-market focus, even if I'm not against it.
The sunk cost fallacy is also something that I've dealt with personally, and I think a shift in mindset is what will set you up for success the most.
