Hi! This was several years ago, but I believe I only had a 1 month trial. I'm not sure about their other payment methods, I'd recommend checking out the official MasterClass site.
Omg ahhh!!! I wanted to book you for copy editing so bad and was so bummed when you removed it from your services. Runninggg to book. How far in advance are you accepting bookings for?
Hi Brielle! Ahh I'm so sorry about that-- I was trying to figure out how I wanted to move forward with the business. Apologies you were caught in my trial and error! 😭 I'm accepting bookings from Oct/Nov+ hehe happy to chat about editing services with youuu <3 :)
i'm SO SAD we missed each other when you were back in toronto AHHHHH 😭 your new website looks amazing! i'm excited for you to work on your own writing projects again :))
I really love your face changing envy idea i would love to write about it and their could be a detective in the story and since envy is part of the seven deadly sins there could be different contracts such as an wrathful person wishes inflicts harm to whoever wronged them or a person who wants money signs a contract and each time they are greedy their money increases and with generosity the money depletes completely.
I'm in the same place you were in this video. Nine months with no job in tech after being laid off. Hardly any job gives me an interview, and if they do, it's like five interviews just to be told I don't have a job. I'm writing a book in the PNW (raised here) and this gave me some inspiration to finish my project.
Aww thanks for sharing this with me! Yeah the market has not gotten any better since November, but if you keep going at it, I'm positive something with land in your way :)
I appreciate you making this and so many authors sharing their ideas. I used to think sharing ideas were bad cause stealing or taking away someone else's idea or the pressure to be original. I felt like a fraud. Though through research I found the "hermit lone wolf genius" stereotype for writers or creatives in general are not entirely true. Writers back then would help each other come up with plots or solve problems. thinking your story is original just seems like unattainable ideal and isn't the reality.
Ooo, the vampire lovers to enemies man, that would be so interesting to go from seeing them look at you with love to fear and despair and possibly hate.
I had my own idea i wanted to write long time ago but never really managed to. I might get around to write this someday but please use this, regardless. Prompt: a world famous actress has a daughter that she hides from the world. she keeps her hidden in a magical room and doesn't ever want to let her go, telling the daughter many excuses. But the daughter makes an attempt to leave after turning thirteen and discovers the real reason why her mother hid her from the world was because she made a deal with the devil to be rich and famous and in exchange, ths devil asked for her firstborn. But she couldn't let her daughter go and decided to hide her existence all together. None of that matters now because right as the girl goes out into the real world, the devil has seen her and knows that shes the firstborn he was promised.
omgggg your kitty walking across your desk while you're typing is literally SO CUTE 😭 i'm sorry about your rejection but you are definitely NOT a fluke! this vlog is so soothing... you make me want more keyboards LOL <3 the new board is sooo pretty
Michael Moorcick says real widely and not just genre fiction. He has read in the style of a favourite author, Joseph Conrad in his novel, The Ice Schooner and Susanna Clarke's Mr Strange and Jonathan Norrell is a Dickens novel.
Your voiceovers are so cool! I love it! I still love the subtitles. I really appreciate it as it makes it easier to follow along. Sending ease to you with your writing. I hope you find your grove again soon! 💜🫶
I love your videos! Also, don’t get too hung up on whether or not you’re writing enough. Small gains over nothing. Be proud of your accomplishments! Can’t wait for the next video!
YAY! A Kelley video! 1. Im really glad you're back on the vlogging train. Love your videos. 2. Thanks for letting us know TIVA was coming back! It led me to the podcast which I am listening too as well. Literally had the HUGEST smile on my face listening to ep 1.
Ahhh I love your voice overs!! I also feel you on writing seeming silly when you've got a million other things on your plate, but if you remember why you're writing your project and the feelings it brings then it is and can often be important to squeeze into the day! ❤
Your voice definitely fits the vibe of your writing vlogs - Really calm and keeps me engaged! ♡ I work for myself and I relate to the content switching sooo much (I can't do batch days for the life of me 😅) Love love loooove your new keycaps btw!
these vlogs are always so motivating to me!! the vibes are just always so chill and comforting (-: im currently scrapping the entire 2nd-3rd draft of a full length novel but once ive reworked it into something readable im hoping to reach out to you for editing services and i cant wait for that day to come!
When you said cat allergies I feel that 😂 I also have cats with cat allergies 🫶 - great vlog again! Writing definitely comes in phases for me too and it’s good you’re listening to that right now!! Also every time I watch a video of yours I’m influenced to get a fun keyboard
I think you actually gave me a decent idea for a story. Not sure if I want to write it or not. I don't share many of my ideas, some of them really are too good.
Hi Kelley! I totally relate to the struggle of finding balance between writing and my 9-5 job. It's nice to hear from someone who is also trying to push through! Love your channel!
Found this when looking for plot ideas for my D&D campaign! This is gold, and im using your dragon hunters as a clan in a city, with the twist being the god of war's lover has been polymorphed into one of the dragons
I appreciate your video to acknowledge the fact that editing takes a lot of toil and it drains alot of energy. All the best for your novel and may you get wonderful ideas to work on them. Last but not the least, a writer never satisfies with the outcome. Try to struck a balance between your job and your writing.
Read This is How You Lose the Time War and thought you might like it! There's some eco-sci-fi-worldbuilding in it! Ps. Rejection of a sample means NOTHING about the quality of your story as a whole! Keep going ♥
I don't think that I've ever heard someone refer to themselves as a "maximalist" before. That was just too funny. But also very relatable, because I think I'm high-key kind of a maximalist, too. Haha Also, really liking the music choices here. NewJeans and Le Sserafim? I liked the video, anyway, but that's an automatic like from me.
