Oh I commented before seeing you leave the drain plug out .😂 Maybe doing this a few times before making a video but this is way funnier 😂 Thanks for sharing love the channel.
Hi 👋 Sandy , I forgot to mention a suggestion or even to have a look, is the ground / soil around your garage higher than what your garage floor is, if so , when you’ve got a bit of time, it might be worth moving the soil back away from the garage, if that is the problem, it’s just a thought just to try and help you, from an old geezer, 😂 , Phil from the moulin
As usual Sandy, I laugh at your hilarious videos brother because they are so damn real. My first encounter with your videos was an oil change you did a few years ago on the first H-D and made me laugh the whole damn time. Always enjoy your positive attitude and helpful tips. Stay safe brother on your trip south. 🤜🏼🤜🏼
New to your channel, from South nj. You are now living the good life with a center stand and reverse! Hopefully there will be a video about your iron butt ride.
Get a flat oil filter wrench for the bike. You just slip it up in front the filter and behind the lower fairing, through that half inch gap, then loosen the filter. No need to remove any fairing. Do a web search for Honda Goldwing 1500 oil filter wrench and look for the flat stamped steel wrench
First time changing the oil ever? 🤔😂 and the way you cleaned the funnel. Hilarious!!!!😂😂😂 "why it was going in so easy" that's what she said as well!!!
Also remember these have linked braking, front brake activates left front disc and rear brake pedal activates right front disc and rear disc at same time.
Sandy, You should at least warm your engine up before draining the sump. It means you get more of the sludge or whatever out. Cold oil doesn't drain as well.
If you have an oil stain on your concrete there are many products you can buy to clean it up 👍👍. But if you're cheap like me you can just use kerosene poor kerosene on the spot use old broom to work it in let's sit a few minutes then use oil dry to suck it all up AND SAY GOODBYE SPOT 👋
Wait, my '99 has nearly 100,000 miles and never smokes on startup (or ever). The reason? Well, I never leave it parked on the side stand. I always put it on the center stand and the oil ALWAYS seems to make it back into the sump. I don't know why 🤔, it just does. Maybe others have that problem REGARDLESS of which stand on which they park it. I just don't. It might be worth a try, or maybe not, rider's choice...
Hey Sandy, its an iconic bike with a very nice condition. But I think she needs to have her paint detailed, you know professional polish and ceramic coating etc, then the green would pop up and can easily be eye catching. Safe ride for you and for the wing during saddlesore man.
