Wrysgan quarry situated high above Cwmorthin quarry, is regarded by many as one of the most dangerous quarries in North Wales, mainly due to the 45 degree angle of the slate. There have been numerous roof collapses along with rock falls even quite recently so great care must be taken in & around this place.

A very interesting video, great location with some excellent images,I have visited the quarry in the past but not ventured up at that higher level, obviously missed out, must get back sometime, thanks for sharing.

I think that’s the first tog video I’ve seen from Wrysgan quarry. It’s been a few years since I was last up there. We went up the hard route and then headed round to Rhosydd from there, (the opposite way to you). Thanks for sharing. How many togs will now follow in your footsteps I wonder.
