I am so proud of Tai Tzu Ying. She is the best of the best I've ever seen and she has brought women badminton interest to the forefront. I am an avid fan! I am actually surprised that Taiwan can produce such a fantastic player in Tai Tzu Ying because unlike Japan where they have as coach Park Joo Bong, Taiwan does not seem to have one of that calibre as far as I know. In Thailand, they now have 3 great players who seem likely to get better and better following the footsteps of the great R. Intanon. And of all places, Spain produced the wonderful Carolina Marin. How did she come about? Even India, which usually was insipid is now such a great power in Saina Nehwal and Sindhu let alone their men's singles Kidambi Srikanth. I cannot see any challenge coming out of China soon and I worry for Li Yongbo and Zhang Ning. Theirs can be a task too difficult. The last great Chinese players were Wang Shixian and Li Xuerui but they are getting on with time and it would be terrible for them to face challengers like A. Yamaguchi or Okuhara let alone Tai Tzu Ying.

Even though it seemed like a lopsided match, I really enjoyed watching Busanan play, she has the talent. I hope she stays healthy and starts winning.

Have watched her since she was 16 years old. Her height then was 163cm. I think by now she would have gain a couple of cm more!
