BoA is considered the Queen of Kpop and is the entire reason why Kpop is so big in Japan. She was the first Kpop artist to actually sell there. She also debuted at 13 years old and was out doing everyone in the industry at the time. Girls Generation was considered "The Nation's Girl Group" before Twice took over in 2016. They're still to this day considered one if the best vocal groups in Kpop history. They were also the best selling GG before Twice. When they announced their 2011 comeback, other groups and artists delayed their releases because they didn't wanna have to compete with them. They will forever be legends (Also, Hyoyeon is considered the best dancer in Kpop along with Taemin of Shinee, another legendary group) Aespa one of the best selling kpop girl groups in history, and constantly break records. They currently have a hit song called Supernova that has been number 1 for 39 days in Korea, the longest so far this year. This song also has 290 Hourly PAKs so far, which means number 1 on all charts in Korea, and over 500 RAKs, number one of the main 4 charts. Their first comeback in 2021, Next Level, was actually banned in Korea during testing season because of how catchy it was (this only happened 1 other time with Shinee's Ring Ding Dong in 2009). Supernova is still breaking record as I'm tying this rn. Also, their 2023 album "My World" is currently the second best selling Kpop albun by a female artist, at 2.3 Million sales. It's only behind Blackpink's "Born Pink" at 3 Million Sales. My World also broke the record for most pre-ordered kpop album by a girl group

If you say that Red Velvet has the best vocals in the industry, you're simply stating facts.

no i get you about the vocals! Gidle focuses more on vocal color rather than technique / power. Twice has some power vocals but id argue that they focus more on performances and dance. Each group has their own vibe for sure and i love all of them but i am a vocal person at heart so no group comes close to red velvet for me their vocal power and color are so prominent which you dont tend to see in non SM groups. Not to mention how experimental their music and concepts are.
