Shame that WSX is pretty much done. Wasn't the most exciting, but would have been nice to see them get traction and at least be able to keep the series going each year.
I, too, think that WSX is likely going to die with Adam Bailey resigning. At the same time, those stadiums in Europe are total jokes because of how small they are! I'm thinking that if Cooper Webb is struggling with arm pump, part of that might have to do with the fact that he has not contended for titles this way. The two 450 titles he won were by convincing margins where it had to take a BIG disaster for him to lose it. Good stuff as usual, Cooksey! Keep 'em coming!
I watched 3 rounds of WSX live. Enjoyed it. Its about time the AMA did 1 round abroad. Wembley. Parc de Princes any massive stadium in the world. Would fill it easy.
@Suckitupbuttercup407 They did years ago and speedway. They let a load coked up no ticket people in to watch the Euro Championships final 2 years ago. Surely they could build some whoops and a big dirty rhythm section
WSX should be to build the SX skills and scene for the European riders(and fans) who race moto gp and the home country series(France,Germany,Italy,Belgium, etc ..)WSX had potential, a big problem is the OEM manufacturers in bed with the AMA. They do not want to weaken the series they invested in.
Disappointed wsx wont be pushing the ama to do better because imo that is all its good for. BUT i really hope that it results in us getting some riders back for motos.... i was at highpoint this past year and Ken roczen raced it... only national he competed in, and he had jett on the ropes. Would love to see that dude kicking ass again.
It will. Smx isn’t going anywhere and anyone that thinks wsx has anything to do with it is just dumb. They didn’t just come up with it all of the suddenz something like smx playoffs had to be something that they had been looking into doing for a while. Now maybe wsx may have expedited how soon it get started it but I highly doubt they were worried one bit about wsx and the series being able to go anywhere. It’s a logistics nightmare and they just tried rushing everything instead of trying to slowly build it
@@davidbiagi2932- You obviously weren’t paying attention or are a FELD shill because it happened exactly how you say it didn’t. Despite your hip spellingz you’re wrong.
I don’t think Monster energy supercross was at all worried about what the WSX was doing and don’t think it had anything to do with them coming up with SMX. Something like that had to have been in the works for a while and to think some new series made the biggest one in the world change anything is kicks farfetched. If wsx had been around for a while and was looking like a real solid series year after year then yeah, I could see it, but it wasn’t
So they are going to stagger in reverse order he results from race 1 in a short ass 5 minute race? I mean, I guess I get it gives the not so good guys a chance but that just kinda seems like the wrong thing to do. They should do atleast 10 damn minutes in the 2nd one.
WSX was a good idea that was poorly executed. Right from the start. In reality, they never stood a chance. And AMA Supercross knew it before the SMX guys ever did.
Its so hard to take you seriously when you got rouseys book behind you. Did you even read it? Sorry my friend. Or is it a meme I missed? That must be it.
@@thefridaynetwork any true moto fan knows how big of a joke that series was. Its the truth whether you like it or not. It was second rate and stole guys away from Nationals. I'm glad it's gone.
How many times do i gotta say it. People arent "being u subbed". Peoe are unsubbing. Big difference. Maybe if you talked less politics, ufc and now wwe with your rousey bs. Its a moto channel. I unsubbed because of the nonsense you spew and the non moto political bs. 😂
I really couldnt care less about WSX failing. SMX now exists and guys are getting paid fairly so maybe all of those WSX guys will actually race Nationals now. It was basically glorified arenacross in foreign countries...not a big deal.
@@kurtheidelbach riders and fans come to the USA from all over the globe. We have the infrastructure here, most foreign counties do not. Nothing to whine about...SX has always been primarily American.
You might not care much about world Supercross but for people in other countries it gives us the opportunity to see better than average To top level riders so best keep your opinion if it doesn’t affect you
