I've had this clock for at least 5 years and it's run great. However, I accidently knocked it off the table and the batteries fell out. In trying to reset it, the rest of the setup got scrambled. Got my manual out and couldn't make heads or tails with it. I was about to toss it in the trash when I thought I would check youtube for instructions. Following the video, I was able to RESET the clock. Thanks La Crosse for putting this instructions here. AND you might consider putting a manual online. YES, I found what could be a manual, but it was USELESS. Print too small. I think a nice manual came with the clock, but I lost that one. Without this video, the clock would be in the garbage can. Yes, I think if I had just plugged it in, the auto reset might have reset the clock.
Well we're certainly happy you were able to get your clock reset correctly. We apologize for the older instruction manual you may have found. In recent years we've updated this to our version 2 model, which can be found here: www.lacrossetechnology.com/wt-5220u-itv2-projection-alarm-clock?type=manuals -- If you should have further questions or any trouble in the future please just let us know.
Partially helpful vid. You said you'd get to the outdoor sensor later but then you never did, you My clock works except for the outdoor sensor. I think this clock wasn't ready for marketing.
We are truly sorry for the outdoor sensor trouble. Our first suggestion would be to review our Basic Restart video here: bit.ly/LaxTech_BasicRestart to hopefully help get the sensor synced with your display. If this fails, please message our support staff directly here: bit.ly/contact_techsupport. Or alternatively, send us a private message on our Facebook: bit.ly/LaxTech_Facebook or Twitter: bit.ly/LaxTech__Twitter page. Sorry again for the inconvenience.
I've had this clock for several years now. A few days ago, the outside sender seems to have stopped working. I went online and followed all instructions (several times), e.g. new batteries in both units, putting batteries in sender first, then clock. Looked at hints from Amazon clock owners, to no avail. It seems it just isn't going to work. I think I'd going to get this one next; "Ambient Weather WS-8365 Clearview Projection Clock with Indoor and Outdoor Temperature" I rather like the idea of having both in/out temps displayed anyway.
Hey Dannis, we're truly sorry for the trouble. If you've tried our Basic Restart steps covered in our other video here: bit.ly/LaxTech_BasicRestart and they were ineffective, please reach out to our support staff directly here: bit.ly/contact_techsupport -- We'd be more than happy to help get you a replacement outdoor sensor.

Hmmm. I can't find no where any thing about the tower indicator. I see the battery indicators, but nothing about or where the tower for wwvb signal is. Why not?
Hi Francis, the WWVB "Tower" Icon will flash while searching and remain on constant when the signal has been received in the past 24 hours. The clock will automatically search for this WWVB reception for at least 1 hour between midnight and 6am each day. Unfortuantely, we cannot guarrentee the signal will reach all locations. More on this and the clock's other settings can be found in your full manual and FAQ documents here: www.lacrossetechnology.com/products/wt-5220u-it#support
@@franlum This icon will appear above your time dots, between the hour and minutes on the LCD. This is shown on page 4 of your manual: bit.ly/wt-5220u-it_manual
Hey Edgardo, sorry for the trouble. This setting can be adjusted in the main menu. Hold the MODE/MIN button until the display flashes to enter the menu, then use the AL/HOUR and MODE/MIN buttons to adjust the settings up and down, and press the SNOOZE button on top to save and move to the next setting option. The 12/24-hour clock option should appear after setting your data as shown at the 2:56 timestamp in this video.
