The Caprock Canyon State Park Trailway System is a Panhandle Jewel. The trail is great for bikepacking hiking and just a fun day out. tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/ca...
The route we rode is around 30 miles out and back. The whole route runs from South Plains to Estelline and is around 65 miles. I think the Monk's Crossing to Southplains is the prettiest section and best surface.
