So all the questions over "when to take the joker" are pointless, because the joker amounts to essentially zero difference from a normal lap. Brilliant.
The difference is that there's no air turbulence from slipstreams if it's clear and it also can allow you to slip in front of someone that would otherwise block your line
Wtcr cars looks beautiful but i have to say that street tracks provide boring races!i would love to see races in Spa/Barceona or Monza Le Castellet instead of Marrakech or Vila Real...Seems to be a clear choice...those road cars have to be sold in emerging countries....that' s also the purpose of this championship !For me Btcc stays the most impressive championship to watch... anyway thanks Miranda productions for sharing....
Wtcc is boring at the best of times, but street circuits enhance the boring effect 100%. Thank goodness we have BTCC with closer door to door racing with excellent spectator value.

What a boring race track. Cars barely fit on the grid. Chicanes everywhere. Very hard to pass. Go to race in Monza, Mugello, Imola, Silverstone, spa, Fuji, Laguna Seca, interlagos. That’s a parade not a race
Couldn't agree more. Looks as bad as some Formula E tracks. Even Pau Circuit was better than this. Vila Real is too tight and too narrow for modern cars.
@@theodentherenewed4785 Thats not correct. Vila Real is a fast track and is not that hard to to pass. I remeber you that Tiago pass 5 cars in that race.. I invite you to visit the circuit and know a little bit more about the city ;)
Yes, seems a bit pedestrian and the circuit probably doesn't help, but the current WTCR rules still make the racing more unpredictable than the current F1 borefest!

There is plenty of beautiful and historical circuits in the world...why a World Championship has to run in this ugly and stupid tracks ?!?! Only in Italy we have Monza, Imola, Mugello...In Portugal there are Estoril and Portimao. And Barcelona, Magny Cours, Donington, Hockenheim and many others... This the World Championship of Touring Cars....it deserve something better.
Except for Nurburgriing all the races had been boring to be honest. This my first year watching WTCR and for me the races are nothing. I subscribed to Eurosport using a VPN to watch the FP and Qualifying rounds because apparently FP and Qs are more exciting to watch. Everyone is just stucked at their position till the end during the races. Watch the today's DTM race that was thrilling till the final lap.
