Thank you for the post-race selfie at the Yokohama venue! The fact that you really take your time with the fans was cool to see. Especially when the race outcome wasn't as expected. But as a Scandinavian I must say.... bring DANISH BREAD in preparation next time ! 😁

41 secs off of the win is awesome. On track for a medal in Paris. The final thing to peak with some track workouts will be your lightening speed off the bike so I’m not worried champ.

Actually Gomez won ITU world championship 5 times, beat at least 3-4 generations of triathletes from 2006 till 2015, won 2 70.3 world championship titles, won Ironman Malaysia then got back in ITU circuit in 2019 in age of 36 and beat Iden, Blu, Luis, Yee, Wilde… in Bermuda and Leeds WTCS

The running talent is insane in wtcs now, not that long ago sub 30 would've been a sure fire win, at Paris the gold will need a sub 29

Gomez and Brownlee were running 29 low in Yokohama in 10-12 years ago on the same course (without carbon plates). Cycling got better in WTCS circuit, but actually running is similar as it was. Also now almost everyone swam in 0-40s behind Devay, which shows that there is no weak swimmers in WTCS circuit, but Devay is on similar level as Varga was. Series is getting more and more competitive, but peak of very best athletes is similar as it was.

As you get older it's harder to maintain the high heart rates needed for these shorter, faster races.

Kb is my Idol,when he looses ( 10th is like loosing for him), i loose with him. But he's a différent animal, the truth of one race is not he truth of another. He'll peak AT Paris,trust me,he will be there 🥇. I'm not worried, and Olav Alexandre will find what didn't work in japan. I also think he's playing poker face 😂
