definitely watch all the "showcase" seasons

Was my favourite show, looked forward to it every Sunday on Showcase unedited.

@@3ggh3adseason 1 to 7 was done under the production of showcase. The three main characters now own swearnet and they produced seasons 8-12. I would say the exact same thing that the production of Showcase was more of a tame vibe and easier to watch. Once it was released on Netflix, it became outlandish and less “believable”.

Hooked is an understatement. I’ve seen every movie so many times and episodes over 100 times. Tpb really comforts me because it got me through a really hard time in my life

Yeah, the funniest thing about Ricky, to me, was that he had this uncanny knack of immediately cutting down to size any pompous, arrogant person who came to the park, or just anyone at all in a position of authority who would try to throw their weight around. That person would show up, try to be a big shot in some way and then Ricky would just wander into shot with an immediate putdown. The swearing wasn't what made his speech funny, but it was a way to give it punch. He's really the voice of the viewer in many ways. Like, in the Bible Pimp, you see the daughter's hairstyle and think it's a bit stupid but move on and just accept it as some prim Christian girl thing, but then Ricky perfectly expresses that later on with, "cinnamon roll fuckin' head'.

Totally agree!! When I moved to the Philippines, my young Filipina wife eventually got into it. We had to backtrack right back to episode #1 and we watched every episode, movies and cartoon series. She was pissed when there was no content left. That demonstrates the transcultural power of that magnificent series❤️❤️❤️.

@@KafeteriaFood also, the first 1-2 seasons are like super old, the comedy is there but it is awkward, it gets even better throughout season 3-7 then the newer ones added are also ok but not the same vibe

@@RyneMurray23 when Trailer Park Boys first came out I still lived in the country. Me and my buddy we would set it up and put up projector up and blasted on the side of the barn. We have half the neighborhood out there hillbilly Drive-In LOL! I love that show

Small town Montana boy here. One of our local welders and his brother built a crossbow. A BIG crossbow. How big? The limbs were truck leaf springs and they had to be winched to full draw. It shot rebar bolts, and they got full penetration through BOTH walls of a double-wide. Bored country folk make their own fun.

@@bikerboymc54 - i spent a lot of my youth on southern Georgian Bay in Ontario, which is an area full of cottages where people come to get drunk and crazy in the summer. In the winter, it was just like Sunnyvale. I was a Julian, and my best friend was definitely a Ricky.
