Awesome video man! These "builds" that people are putting together are absolutely disgusting, 🤢🤮, but sometimes someone can put together a pretty cool build, like that one mini van truck, it was done correctly but the price was not good, that last Firebird Trans - am could have possibly been worked on by George Barris, but I don't know, it just looks a little funky to me, but thanks for the awesome video man, can't wait to see what you find next time, 👍👌😁😎🤙💪👏✌
Hey! That Durtymax vehicle looks like an attempt to copy the ever not so popular Tesla truck. I would take the Durtymax over the Tesla any day of the week.
The green hornet show was 1 season only in 1966, so I doubt a 71 firebird was built for that show, plus thank you for actually have the vehicle in the thumbnail in your videos
Yeah.. I should of looked into it before making the video.. but absolutely that bird wasn't in the show.. since it ended in 67. And your welcome.. I hate click bait too! Thanks for watching and commenting
last car screams barris styling . hope they find more proof and the car trades at a fair price and is restored/ or at least copied since most of its still there to work from
Hi there bro. Oh my word! The Ford truck I will admit from the cab back looks good, but what is up with that front end? The PT cruiser I will admit I do actually like but not sitting on a 4x4 chassis. I’m with you on the Jeep. I kind of like it. As for the dirtymax, you said something about them thinking outside the box. It looks to me like they’ve taken a whole bunch of cardboard boxes and built the bodywork from the boxes. That thing is just ugly. I know they say that beauty is only skin deep but ugly is to the bone. Now that Pontiac Trans Am, I think your videos are getting to me now because I kind of like that. It’s different but it’s subtle different which I like. Another amazing video from you bro. I really look forward to the next one and I had a great laugh with you once again. Please take care of yourself and blessings to you and your family from you know where.
Now that firebird.. if what the seller stated is true , and George Barris had something to do with it.. it may be worth a few bucks.. but need lots of true documentation. Thanks as always sir. Same to you and your family
That bus looks like a giant van/station wagon ute sawsall conversion. As you suggest, the concept is ok, but the execution could be better. It could certainly use a screen door up front.
The chopped school bus is actually a good build. Painted correctly, it would be a good camping or bug out rig. The price is a bit hefty, but it could definitely be useful to the right person.
I liked that bus but not the interior. That was good thinking to save and reuse the original back. The interior needs to be customized and the color needs to be changed to something less noticeable.
Well, the "coolbus" wasn't garbage ( see most other featured disasters ) , but why leave the seats in it? Fairly useless unless you're running kayak rentals...... The "Barriss" Firebird? Cool, but I don't think George ever got within 50 feet of that car.....style just off... Also, his work is well documented, and I recall no mention anywhere of this job.... Fun video!
It's funny that i get warning from youtube everytime i post a comment about keeping it respectful, i guess that happens when you have been banned 20+ times for not buying all the nonsense going on in the world, and stating it on YT.
Gtfoh... really? Wow we can pick them up for like 2k and under in our area. Looks like I'm buy a ass load of them and a truck load of Sawzall blades and hauling these mofos to Utah..🤣
The Firebird has the small back glass like a 1970- 1974. The interior is definitely late 70s. I doubt it was built for the Green Hornet series. The show ran from 1966 to 1967.
4:00 comes wit everything.....except penicillin. 5:45 local County prisoners converted some old busses for the road workers to haul lawn mowers and ride in. Their results looked like something Blue Bird built in their factory.
1) That was all you had to replace what happened in a break check? 2) I think I remember a COncept Dodge truck that looked similar to this, I think it was for the Dakota, It didn't make it to production for a reason. 3) Just because you can, doesn't always mean you should. 4) He should have just bought a Chevy H2. He thimks he turned this Chevy into an H1 Humvee. The Chevy H2 is really just a Trailblazer with body armor. 5) This pretty good and it is the first time it was done, but not for that price. 6) He turned a Jeep Cherokee into a Chevy Avalance. I do have to say that he did add a few feet to the rear of it, but now what he puts in it will now get wet. It HAD the same internal capability, you just had to fold the rear seats down. 7) The $2,500 is for the rims, the car is free. 8) At least he made a Pt Cruiser worth something. I know I like it. By- the-way, I am down here in Louisana. This would be great to go hunting in. 9) This makes about the same amount of sense as all Car Companies putting four doors on all of their trucks. That. No. One. Asked. For. 10) It is a Gen-Two Second body style Firebird. (After the 5 MPH bumpers rule.) I looked it up. Barris did build a Specialty Firebird. It is silver and it is a Convertible. But, it isn't this one. The GReen Hornet. No, this doesn't have a connection to that either. Black Beauty is a 1966 Chrysler Imperial. And if it were a Barris, that would DEFINITLY have documantaion. Signed-Richard.
I kinda like the short bus, I think I would have maybe “RV ‘d the inside a little , looks like they kept the most of the seats, or maybe with a vehicle like that you would want a storage area for tools?
The bus was cool and all but i think it would have looked better with the square style nose and a different paint job. That last car the Trans Am "thing" does look kinda cool, if it was fixed up body work and paint then we could really tell, the Jeep "Gladiator!?" would have looked better as a flat bed, or have the back swap-able. That's just my opinion.
If you're going to turn a van into a pickup truck fine but you got to have it so you can go from the cab to the bed because if you didn't leave those doors functioning then what the hell were you doing?
That last one is not a 1971 Firebird. The interior, and body lines look more like a 1977 or there abouts. Them not having a title is suspicious, because I'd bet it's not what they are trying to represent.
See I was wondering about that.. but wasn't sure if it ran till the early 70s or not.. I honestly should have looked into that at the time of doing this video. Because the show did actually cancel in 1967. So my bad on that. But I was still calling bs on the car anyway. Thanks for watching and commenting
I kinda like the firebird and the school bus. I totally agree about the bus that could be useful. I didn't mind the first one it reminds me of the older Japanese small trucks that someone could put a step side conversion kit on or something along those lines.
You know what the problem is with all these stupid minds think alike. There's someone out there congratulating them on these projects probably more than one.. you know the kind of people whose mom smoked and drank the whole pregnancy away.😂
There were 22 vehicles used in the making of the Green Hornet. 18 of them are complete destroyed and long past gone to the point that they were melted down and completely scrapped decades ago. Of the 6 remaining 1 got lost at sea when a ship sank and it exploded as well so its never going to be recovered and they couldn't find the ship at the bottom of the ocean and its basically gone. 3 got turned into Batmobiles in which Jeff Dunham has one and Jay Leno has the other 2. Then 1 got turned into well the vehicle in the car from The Knight Rider and its in the Smithsonian. The last one is in the Smithsonian as well. All are accounted for and there is 0% chance this is from that old movie. A lot of liars pop up every so often claiming they have a vehicle from the legendary movie but they don't actually know what the fuck they are talking about.
Yeah.. I should have dug into it at the time of making the video.. now I have , the show ended in 1967.. so yeah that definitely wouldn't have been for the show. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su No problem. I am not as big on cars as other things but its a good thing to watch and learn more about things I don't know yet.
IDK i don't think everything Barris touched is gold, many of his famous cars are uglier than sin and even less useful. I get that his cars are supposed to be art, but you would have to be a re re to look at them like that. I think the firebird is ugly, that short bus was right up my alley though, i come from a long line of window lickers..lol
I hear ya.. and I agree just because he built it doesn't mean it's gold. But it is definitely worth a few bucks to a true collector. But I actually don't hate it. Thanks for watching and commenting
