Lauren, I ordered the NYX full collection Beetlejuice set for $110, it's not at all worth that! It's very cheap packaging and I'm kicking myself. I could have bought the hourglass new palette for less and been WAY happier. I recommend to everyone save your $$ for something better.

The butter glosses and the eyeliners look so pretty, I searched them at Ulta. The blush palette looked really thin and small I was a little surprised. Eyeshadow palette was cute but didn’t really do it for me. Everything was sold out mostly tho, so it seemed to be a popular collection.

I haven't tried a Too Faced shadow in about 5 years, but the last ones I tried were god awful. Chalky with no pigment, the kind of thing you'd get at the dollar store or something. Once I discovered the far cheaper and far better Colourpop I never thought twice about Too Faced, thankfully. This will be a very hard sell for them.

If Sephora just adopted a better points system like Ulta's, they could probably do well. They still have brands Ulta doesn't so there's still a need for Sephora, but personally if Ulta has something that Sephora also has, I'll get it at Ulta because I know I'll get more points. Plus, there are way many more stand-alone Ultas I can access to try things in person than there are Sephoras

@@luciabaran8346same, I wish there were more Ultas near me but I’ve notice there are more Ulta in the suburbs and more Sephoras in cities. I live in a city and I live 15 minute walking distance to 4 different Sephora locations. The closest Ulta is a 15 minute drive or an hour walk 🙃 really hoping Ulta realizes this and starts adding more locations to more city centers. If Ulta was more easily accessible I don’t think I’d continue to shop at Sephora, especially with them continuing to add more Sephora brands.

You can get an entire Natasha Denona eyeshadow palette for $69. The idea of spending $30 for a single shadow is just crazy to me, and it's barely larger than a pan in one of her palettes (1.42 gm vs about 1.1 gm). I love shiny things, but no.

I did buy the dragon 🐉 Hourglass palette. It’s my first hourglass anything so I’m really excited. I’m 47. All the blush shades are supposed to be new and I have fair skin so it should work for me. It’s a late birthday present to myself ❤

@@rinnie78 It's not really magic, it's really not that much better.. but it's nice than I have to open and close 3 or 4 different products, just open one pallete,do it all and be done.. I would definitely wait for the 20% off friends and family sale, sign up for email alerts, or C when they usually have the sales.. But you really only need one palette, so... Like fun, but definitely not a must have

Those $30 Too Faced single eyeshadows are ridiculously priced. These main brands are out here selling us single eyeshadows thinking they are this great, unique formula, for 30 bucks a piece, when we can get better formulas and very unique duochromes and multi chromes from indi brands, and we can get an entire palette of those special shades for 50-60 bucks! Too Faced is nuts for charging that price. I would never spend over 15 bucks for a single eyeshadow.

Whenever I see those eyeshadow palettes with those gorgeous saturated colors (especially greens, reds & teals) I think ooooooh, I'd really like some clothes in those colors! I wear color on my body, not my face. Basically a neutral/natural girlie as far as makeup goes. And I'm fine with that :)

Since you're into neutrals now I highly suggest you try the Terra Moons highlighters (they also sell them in their 26mm pans so you can use them like their single shadows). I just made a big order and picked up most of them. I haven't received them yet BUT I have Mocha Twilight and it's the most beautiful minky brown with tons of sparkle so I think you're gonna love their neutrals. It'll update you once I get my package and see the highlighters in person!

I love eyeshadows! So I really don’t mind Natasha coming with more and truly I’m tired of all the blushes, highlighters and lip oils, we do not need more. With that said, I think that I’m just going to enjoy the I need a warm from afar and instead going to play with my collection and actually make use of it and try to wedge my cosmetic/skin care consumption for a little while.

I believe Rhode released the blush in response to the complaint that the colors released weren’t looking great on darker skin tones. So they consulted and released a new shade to complement darker skin tones.

Last year hourglass dropped the matching boxes so I didnt get one, I am kicking myself as the tiger was really beautiful. This year they have brought the matching gift boxes back, now they are charging for them, 3 years ago they just came with the pallet. The dragon is very beautiful, by far the prettiest packaging this year, imo.

I just got the ND I need a warm, and it is. It warm. It is more peachy leaning somewhat warm. It’s a great adjunct to my I need a nude. I do not wear warm shadows as it makes my light olive neutral complexion look dead! Now I would love for ND to make cream blushes, but I have soooo many gorgeous cream and liquid blushes and everyone is making them. I have like 100 of them and they will all go bad before I even make a dent. I’d like to try the rhode blushes as I’m a blush girls, but I hate that packaging. I can’t wait for all the little mini multiple color packages for the holidays. I hope summer Fridays does another mini 4 pack of lip balm.

I’m kind of wanting that too faced collection. The eyeshadows look pretty and I have a few holiday blush palettes from them, I’m a sucker for them. I do think the prices tho are a bit steep. I think they’re crazy for the price of those single eyeshadows. The shades do not seem special. They also have a heart shaped pressed powder that I really want but its $40 and almost less than half the product that’s in the Urban Decay All Nighter powder that’s my holy grail so it’s a no I think for me

Imperial road came out with that new blush because all the other blushes they had are white bass and show up Ashy on dark

The white lip sleeping mask is Peppermint. Candycane is red and white swirl one for the mask.

The Too Faced Shadows are gorgeous. $30 is expensive, but just get the one shade you would use most! Magic Sprinkles is my favorite ❤

Too Faced has the thickest, bunchiest, wrinkly eyelid making shimmers I’ve ever used! I bought that spritz palette or whatever it was… SO awful shimmers! Now $30 for a single? Get some from Clionadh or another indie brand! Guaranteed to be gorgeous!

I am actually so excited for the DM Lightwork 6. Buying that many shades from an indie company would be more expensive and Danessa actually does glitter/glow very well. The practicality is either gonna be a hit or a miss depending on execution but It's really the only holiday release I'm eyeing beyond a few luxury brands.

Not buying anything new new until it hits tjmax and marshals which will be like 3-6 months after it’s been or retail at Sephora and Ulta I learned the hard way I’m done paying retail and then I find the same gosh darn palette at marshals for $24.99 four months later
