That's because you need to lvl up to get faster web swinging speed by the end of the game you will swing faster I beat the game in like a few days and everytime you lvl up you get more hp,damage,web swinging speed etc

If I’m correct I believe that would be a perfect swing release. What I mean by that is how you start when you shoot the web, there’s a time window for you to build the perfect momentum and there’s an even smaller time window for you to let go of the web to get that powerful speed boost. Again I could be wrong I’m just going off what I’ve seen and personal experiences for time window with playing DMC 5 Vergil Maximum Motivation.

@@konstantinivanov1717 you do realise the reason they did the swinging slower in insomniac Spider-Man was because the PS4 HDD couldn’t load things in time if they had faster swinging, so the ps4 this whole time was holding back Spider-Man, play Spider-Man 2 and you’ll notice how much faster you can go in that game

this made me realize that it'd been funny to see Andrew's Peter fuck up and overshoot the swinging force in TASM1, because even with Spidey's powers and reflexes it'd probably take some trial and error to get the hang of web swinging. That would've added to the whole realism angle that TASM1 was going for. even in the game itself Peter mentions he has to unironically do math equations in his head when using the webs.
