Lou is my god🥰🥰🥰🥰love them since bakesale... saw them a bunch of times ; met him once and told him I thought it was pretty kool when he moved to LA! ... he laughed and said no one had ever told him that hahah! Rip Elliot smith 🥰🥰🥰🥰sebadoh forever 😍😍😍😍😍
Lou seems to be a very down to earth and humble person. One would really like to have a beer with Lou. I've met J and can really relate to him being difficult to read and a quiet person, which makes you stressed and forces you to fill the silence with chatter.
Fuck me. I've been looking for this for years. Particularly for the songs he plays at the end. I forget the name of the first song but fuck it's beautiful. Thank you for uploading.
everyone thinks meth is worse or scarier than other hardcore drugs due to how its been portrayed by the media. thats not necessarily a bad thing, though
@Danny Dorito they found J through an ad. I think Lou had more social issues than J. He still says he doesn't have any friends and J said the same thing. Outside of music he has no friends.
True kind of but ya know... Even J has said he's lost it a few times and has depression issues. Yeesh... I was 5 feet from the dude on the street lol. It was epic lol. No one is perfect... all relationships go through deep weird shit sometimes... gotta take the good with the bad i guess.
J & Lou: BOTH COOL My Theory: J just does not like people who do drugs, but keeps it to himself But J broadcasts telepathically, so everyone knows how he feels, but can't say... ...seeing as J is so quiet... Sad IMHO
A little disheartened to hear the host and Barlow dissing The Residents. The 'chew chew gum' refrain is from 'Six Things to a Cycle', released in 1976 on 'Fingerprince'. And 'The Commercial Album' (1980) is 40 one-minute compositions. Know the facts before you disparage the work of others, fellas.
All that shit about J sort of treating Lou like shit and being this Dinosaur Jr. control freak - yea it’s his thing, he wrote the songs, without Lou, it’s Dinosaur Jr.. 2.0. Lou brings this strumming style bass playing that makes that classic, power Trio style Dinosaur possible. And I wish they would have talked more about Sebadoh III. That record is one of the best of the 90s, stands up to anything in the era and in fact is genre defining in a way few records are. Listen to that record alone, on its own, and you can understand a good 15 years of contemporary pop music. And Freed Pig the the all time, most scathing break up song that is alleged to be about J. It had been speculated it might be about a girlfriend break up, but this interview clears that part up.
