I lived in Wuhan for half a year back in 2001, teaching English. With the exception of the pagoda, the neighboring bridge, the giant roundabout and a couple buildings, I hardly recognize the place now. It looks like there's a bit more smog than there used to be, though, and a lot more traffic.
In 2001, it was still in the era of power struggle between the Wuhan Municipal Government and the Hubei Provincial Government. After 2012, the Wuhan Municipal Government completely overhead the Hubei Provincial Government and got the urban construction budget to start development.😢
It is the most wrong decision of the central government to change Wuhan from a municipality directly under the Central Government to the capital of Hubei Province.😅

@@treedillon india is not trying to stab China in the back, but the situation at the border is really dire. China has a much more formidable force and the land China claims is close to major population centers. China's population centers are far away from there and China does not even gain much from taking those lands, so why attack India when they know how close it is?
