I think you are right in that it's already quite a large 18650 light so they could/should have gone straight for using a 21700. For me I like the small SC32 for an 18650 but Wurkkos are getting better at producing models like this that look more appealing.
I'm looking for either a Sofirn or a Wurkkos with a long distance throw (I am familiar with the brand and my nitecore edc33 has sorely disappointed me by malfunctioning from the start, completely new). This one or the TD05 seem good candidates. Any other suggestions?

Hello I just ordered the TC22 which I believe is a flooder. Now I was to buy a thrower from Wirkkos, which one will you recommend? FC11/12/13 OR TD01/02/03/04? Please give some input thanks.
The 03 seems very good but I really hope soon to see the 04 against the Sofirn SC28 (& SC33 maybe) and I expect the 04 to be a much better thrower for sure than the 28. I have come to love my SC28 that amongst other things is a brilliant tail stander ceiling bounce lamp that even on low gives amazing light to a room and the disco ball reflector does not dazzle the eyes. Very versatile allrounder that feels great in the hand and is ridiculously low priced when on sale so I bought 3 of them! I have an SC33 and both SP33 so probably won't need an 04 but I might still want one.

@@weerapatkiatdumrongBut going thru the rotary is slower than a mechanical protruding tail switch then if you are using it while your hand is aiming the pistol a protruding mechanical button rear switch is best & it's not possible with a rotary that's why my Surefire Tactical light uses a protruding mechanical tail button switch not a rotary. Gun enthusiast should understand how to hold a gun & a light at the same time. Real Tactical Flashlight should be as simple as possible it's better when you are under stress nothing will fail.
