Very much appreciate the beam comparison shots. Especially the ones after some time (7 minutes). For me its some of the most important information about a flashlight. Reviewers and manufacturers often want tout the max output. Example; "You have the power of the Sun......... for 1.23 seconds". That is really not very useful to me. I want to know if I take a flashlight out and actually Use It, what is the highest sustainable output I can expect. So again thank you for the beam shots at seven minutes.
I just collect some Wurrkos flaslights und useable brightness constantly. TS32 spot 1500Lumen, throw 1300L. TS22 670L. TD01C 670L. TD04 400L. TD05 650L. FC12 300L. I have now one TS32 and one FC12 and the others 2 and 3 times. Just a little collection... FC12 and TD04 have no buck driver. The others keep the brightnes constantly. I think for me a new TD06 built like the TD04 with 21650 battery but a bit heavier for more cooling and constant brightnes, a bit more throw than the TD05 and a SFT40 with 5000k to 5500k would be nice.
Your reviews are the most informative of any, you show the lumen outputs at all levels, the run times, lumen drops and most importantly your beam shot are incredible, especially the seven minute run time comparisons...thanks so much for the time you put in on these reviews!
Sorry to tell you that I have stopped taking comparison photos and comparing to different flashlights because I no longer have the time. It was either I change my reviews or I stop making reviews. Glad you have enjoyed them this far.
It's a good comparison isn't it. I'm more showing the difference of the higher sustained lumen output compared to the other 3 models that use unregulated drivers.
@@Hyuga_Genza Good to know, I think so too. I have done the same for my upcoming Olight Seeker 4 video. I'll continue to do it for all future reviews 🙂
Enjoyed this video presentation of the TD05, thanks! I didn't know that the Wurkkos TD05 is also a badge engineered Aplos T02 but that wasn't really a surprise to me, since the larger Wurkkos TS23 is also a slightly modified and discontinued Aplos T03. 🙂 I have the FC12, FC13 (SFT40 & XHP50B) in this episode but also own a TD04 instead of the TD03 (not a fan of rotary switches). I was looking at either the TD05 or the TD02 and ended up ordering the latter. The TD04 is a flooder/thrower combination but I had no idea that the TD05 is also a tactical style thrower until I watched this. Your after 7-minute sustained beam shot test is pretty much self explanatory and demonstrates these flashlights in real world usage. My mind begs these questions: _Does the TD05 also come with the hidden Moonlight mode and is the glass lens coated with anti-reflective treatment?_ Thanks for the education! Hope the Wurkkos TD02 won't disappoint me because I didn't research the TD05 properly! 🔦🙄
So, I’m doing my taxes on Sunday, and I’m thinking about the ms32. In case you aren’t aware I own the ms18, but do you think it’s worth the whole cost all over again for the ms32? Like is it as mesmerizing and awe inducing as the ms18 was? Or is it only pretty good compared to the ms18 and only worth the cost of you don’t own either one.. olight people.. be quiet.. no one cares. Only people who own both (or have used both).
@@stargaming601 Their Facebook group (message an admin) or get in touch through their website "sofirnlight". Most brands will contact me and ask after seeing my content, I don't really reach out to them. I was making short demos of each model I purchased for 1 year before Sofirn reached out. I personally doubt they'd be willing to send you anything until they see some existing reviews, and a certain number of views. Some brands won't send a reviewer anything until they reach 1K - 10K subs depending on the brand.
@@PiercingTheDarkness Yeah that's what I thought however, I was reading the APLOS T2 manual and it states don't use unprotected batteries. So I pulled out one of my protected batteries and the T2's is definitely not protected.
@@PiercingTheDarkness Oh by the way my T2 has the same charging behavior as yours. Blinking between Red and Green. Eventually it went solid green. It never over charged the battery so I can live with it. Man the charging circuit must only charge at .2 or.3 amps because damn it's slow. I'll probably just pull the batteries and charge in my external charger in the future.
@@95993harpo Interestingly tried a different power brick and it went green then red then green just the once, then remains green. Maybe you should try another.
