Man I just wanna say how much im proud and how much I just really love WuWa so much, I never thought of being so obsess over a game because of the company itself that suits my taste in gacha games which is hardcore combat. JUST A FEW MORE WEEKS BROTHERS AND SISTERS, LET US HAVE THE GOOD WITH THIS GAME!

Happy to be one of the 22m pre-registered WuWa players, I can't wait to get going on it! Less than a month to go ...

To be fair. If we compare the population of gacha gamers before Genshin Impact release to this date, there is a significant increase. A lot of my friends who plays FPS and Moba games now also plays Gacha games like Genshin, HsR, BlArch, and even Nikke.

Wuwa is like a dream that is soo long to become reality .. 22nd may come fast

Man I can see every gacha game developers want a peace of the apple pie that genshin has been eating, I can see wuthering waves, azur promilia, project mugen and unending dawn (if it's going to be open world) putting their foot down showing that they are ready to rival genshin impact.

One of the good things that comes out for a gatcha company that earns this much is that they're marketing budget flourish, resulting in these Opera concerts, animations and more that adds to the hype of the game.

yeah i often see some people complain saying that certain games like ZZZ or Wuwa are getting sabotaged and all that. and imo yes, ZZZ for example is getting slandered a lot. it's not criticism at this point but just blind hate. but if you were there, what HSR dealt with before launch was crazy and does not even compare lmao tbh it's a miracle it became what it became. 💀

Damn!! Wuthering waves have like 26 million pre registration as of now at like may 5! I've literally never been so excited for a game and the resonater showcase is just hyping me up more! I'm fairly new to kurogames but so far i live their work in wutheirng waves!

I'm super excited to play wuthering waves i just hope they can keep the momentum long term. ZZZ I'm still on the fence about because i wasn't a fan of honkai impact and it looks similar but i want to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Imagine thw numbers for Azure, literally a better genshin from what ive seen, + palworld with this current trend going on rhose number may be legendary with especially one more good trailer before pre registration

from some1 who came from games like seven knights 1 , kings raid , epic seven , dokkan battle gacha wise and games like Tekken and street fighter i feel so good when i see Wuthering waves , the game just seems to have the best of both worlds to me , parry , dodge , comboing QTE with ults and different teams , air combos , the game just screams fun.

Withering waves looks way cooler imo. That’s what I’m most exited for.

Congrats to WuWa! me who stopped spending on genshin and havent spend on hsr, this is still blowing my mind... Thanks to the spenders for keeping the games alive. Hoyo deserved it, yes it has flaws but they deserved the ongoing success!

Honestly even though I don't like Genshin anymore, I have to acknowledge that it did set the bar for upcoming gacha games in terms of quality. Thanks to it we have HSR, Wuwa, ZZZ, AP, ProjectM, and many more in future.

I haven't started yet, but I love the designs in Tower of Fantasy. I installed it.

I only pre-registered on Zenless Zone Zero *because* it's a Mihoyo game, or else I wouldn't, honestly. And I think a lot of people feel the same. Now, Wuthering Waves? That game looks actually awesome, I can't wait to play it, it actually looks like it's own thing while also having a clear inspiration out of Genshin.

this is actually a shared pool of players, like most people have a foot in each, MYSELF included, this basically will boil down to which game has a better feel at launch. unreliable servers bad gacha rates these will mean the other giant will absorb all the dissatisfied customers. then gameplay replayability and the core loop will take over, basically after a month of each game launch we will see where these games lie. honestly im rooting for WW.

Project Mugen .. idk if that’s even gonna release at this point , Endfield … although it’s gameplay maybe not be everyone , after watching the recent Arknights 5th anniversary light stream , I can confidently say that Hypergrypth have got all the things planned out and ready (Endfield teased when story stuff related to it started being teased in AK , Tech test when an event with MASSIVE correlation to the game released . Etc..) Azure promilia will probably reel in a lot of people aswell with its casual gameplay . Wuthering Waves will truly cause a stir in the gacha game industry . Will need to see how the game does a few patches in to certainly grasp the game’s future . As for ZZZ , well for me the name explains it 💤. But it’ll certainly find people who enjoy it . I just don’t hope those Hoyotards going around bragging about how ZZZ is better than all hack and slash games / better than Fromsoft . Those were insane takes

Oh this~ It's just that , players been recommended Genshin / Star Rail for so long. That's why when there's new game that's almost similar to Genshin/Star Rail but different Art and Combat, they're very interested. And I typed these, not for other people but to myself also. Because its been so long (2 ~ 3 Years I think?) , I am looking for alternate game other Than Hoyo's game, and Wuthering wave piqued my interest.

I feel ZZZ would be the first Hoyo game to be that hyped and popular but would probably not be as big as Genshin or HSR. One can argue but ZZZ is basically a HI3 re-skin with all the things that we already saw in all hoyo games. The only few new things it would offer are TV's and new characters and story since it is a *new* game. Honestly I wouldn't even bother to try ZZZ since I'm quite sure that its gacha, "artifact" system, combat system, QoL etc. are the exact same stuff from Genshin,HSR and HI3 which is not that bad but feels very repetitive. Hoyo loves re-using their systems just changing what it is called per game

the crazy thing is. you wpuld expect the bulk of pre registration to be alot closer to launch, but I wake up every fay and see wuthering waves gain thousands to hundreds of thousands of pre registers

As of now WuWa has 23,062,053 preregistered players, which is crazy bc I heard of WuWa quite a while ago last year when it wasn’t near release, and I thought it was just a game I was gonna forget abt but now im one of those preregistered players and I’m so hyped for it. I just hope their gacha system is better than genshin, and that they’re as generous as the hsr team lol

Both WuWa, ZZZ and Project Mugen are the games that I'm waiting for.

I feel like this is less a statement on WW itself but rather on the gaming landscape. I for one never played a gotcha until genshin. I started in the 2.0 of the game and i feel many others did the same. Then with the rampent sucess of HSR more and more people are seeing that despite the monitization AAA gotcha games are delivering on everything we wish major AAA studios would. Namely they exel at providing a fun game, interesting stories, characters that are attractive and powerful. A lot of these things are forgone in the AAA industry in modern times to instead focus on political messaging and DEI.

I’m so excited for Wuthering Waves! Azur Promelia and Project Mugen also show promise as well. It’s nice to see some other companies starting to compete with Hoyoverse! I’m hyped to see where things will go! If Hoyoverse wants to remain at the top, and other companies want a slice of that pie, then everyone is gonna have to step up their game. Which means more fun for the rest of us.

Hype is real 🤩

Im one of the few players than is probably more hyped for ZZZ over WuWa. I dont have the time commitment to play an open world game for hours each day until I reach the end game loop. Plus since Im at work most days, being mobile compatible has become a huge thing for me. ZZZ seems casual, quick (skip option), and also easier to play on mobile in combat. The character designs are crazy too, cant wait!

I hope i dont get motion sickness like genshin. hopefully they have a fixed camera and long distance camera settings

People should have learned by now that it's impossible for future gacha games to reach the nuclear success that Genshin Impact had on launche. Genshin had a 500% boost from the covid pandemic and everyone knows that. It is colossaly unfair to assume future gacha games to be bad or even dead on release for not generating the numbers Genshin did, because what Genshin did was a literal miracle It was as peak as the digital era could get at the time. So yeah, whatever kind of success that HSR or WuWa have and will have from now on is REALLY good. Genshin Impact blew up in success so that the rest of the gacha games could blow up in attention.

I wish Kuro and other devs success on their success. We need them saturate the market since having a monopoly sucks for Genshin players. Plus it'll help other gamers see that there are other decent or amazing games other than MHY's. Definitely have my eyes on WuWa and Project Mugen

Pre-register can say nothing! they can easy edit the number. and a person can pre-register many time. the number of subsciber on onather platforms seem more belieable, like X, youtube,reddit,bilibili...!

Do you also remember that there's argument Star Rail will succeed if only there's another pandemic. I'd like to see their face right now and see if they gonna have the same argument regarding Zenless. Mihoyo has been gambling even since they made their first game. Back in the day people reviews phones using Hi3 that's how people recognize how graphics demanding Hi3 was, before lately it changed into using Genshin as some sort of benchmark for smooth gaming testing. Mihoyo has always been gambling with high production products.

I keep saying that Hoyo has the potential to someday rival Nintendo! No one believes me! But it's honestly starting to seem more likely each year! XD

2024 is an exciting time to be a gacha player. I'm salivating from all these choices for high-quality games. I expect there will be a fun and great game for anyone this year.

I cannot wait for WuWa I just hope that it does not turn out like TOF and it keeps me hooked up for a long time.... When I was almost done caring about Genshin they released Fontaine and almost every frikin character that has come out is unlike any we have seen before now there is even talk about a new permanent game mode coming soon...I play HSR just for the story I don't really enjoy the gameplay as much it's not for me but as an Impact 3rd player I had to know the story and the story of HSR is incredible to say the least.... Now WuWa is something that is right up my alley and I hope it becomes my second game where I can actually grind...!!!🤞🤞

i mean the gacha model has proven to be more lucritive than normal games. these companies make so much money off of them that they are able to improve the games without sacrificing profits

Tbh if theyre able to balace the story, character interaction and make it memorable together with an amazing combat people thirst for a thrilling flashy challenging combat will be fulfilled and the spent money of whales will be more fulfilling for what they're gonna get and I bet that on there first month they gonna reach millions of revenue

Stix, i need to ask what you think ZZZ would be like to the community. I mean its a hoyo game, but you can notice the difference how each treat their community. GI is we all know a sin on its right for being greedy, while HSR treat their players well, idk on HI3 since i stopped playing, iam curious how would ZZZ be

Only an idiot would deny that the only reason people are enjoying high quality gacha games right now is because Mihoyo made the the $100 million gamble by making the very first triple A gacha game. Honkai impact was my first gacha game and i was shocked by the quality since i always associate gacha games with 2D side scrolling chibi gameplay bullshit that looked liked it came from newgrounds or y8.
