Usually 3D and 2D doesn't mesh well in an anime, but people at Kuro found a way to make it happen beautifully

-3D animation blending smoothly with 2D effects. -Dark, grim atmosphere from the start, just as early concept arts have shown it. -Camera angle on Chixia's belly and Baizhi's legs shown not ostentatiously. -Showing Chixia using grapple hook as gameplay mechanic. -Representing Yangyang's Resonance Liberation faithfully, according to the CBT2 footage. -Same thing with Chixia's charged attack as shooting one powerful bullet. Truly, Kuro went hard creating this cinematic.

That Echo got humbled by a random NPC and remembers it lmaoo...... They fought to the last man.

I love how much efffort that kuro put on the NPC soldiers, they look even more heroic than the playable characters to me. A game with good story will show characteristics on everything include NPCs, not just playable characters.

Even the NPC got recognition, Kuro really loved every character. Enjoy the game, everyone!

I like how they showed that people fight back since day one of catastrophe. Overall i enjoy type of post-apocalypse where humanity didn't turn into rats aiming to roll over and die, fight back instead.

Wow this is a banger! Seeing this, I wish that Kuro would add an entire region that is a whole entire city like the one seen in the video. Just a whole entire concrete jungle unlike the usual grassy plains and mountains we see across different open world games. Something like Nier Automata's map design would be nice (Without it's tedious map traversal of course. Just the idea on how it looks like). It could be something like a former capital city of a nation turned into an entire tacet field or something along those lines.

Knowing the same writer that wrote Survival Lucem in PGR is in charge of the story and the PV shows. I'm hype

The animation here is one of the best cinematic trailers I've seen in any anime-styled game. The blend of 2D effects with the 3D animation, camera angles, pacing, music, it's very nicely done!
