Hi everybody! Hope the content can help you to fix/improve your Mobile experience on Wuwa ;) One thing that might be pointed out: WuWa is using Unreal Engine, which requires much more from low-end/GPU's device that the likes of Unity Engine (i.e.: Genshin/HSR). So the game is stuttering not only on mobiles, but also on PCs. Yet, they clearly ran very little performance tests since the launch of the game as the optimisation is truly lacking, and could have been definitely improved. RiP for now. That's actually very useful information, That's why I can perfectly run Genshin on my PC but Wuwa gets stuck at 1-2FPS!! even at lowest graphics lol Guess I'll wait for console release.
i never lag in pc even when i play for 12 hour straight and i only use rtx 3060 tbh pc spec requirement is way lower as compared to phone putting it another way a mid range pc can play wuwa fine but i need high spec phone to play it smooth as butter
I have poco x6 pro 12gb / 512gb (dimensity 8300)...after this update the game runs a lot smoother and cooler even at 60 medium (no wild boost) which is awesome. (For the brothers in the comments) Normal phones don't have active cooling so they throttle performance. Tips to counter this besides a cooler or fan: play when ambient temperatures are low. (Night time) Take off cases while playing even when using a fan this allows the heat to leave the devices quicker. During dialogue or cutscenes allow the area where the cpu is located to cool ( don't hold the camera portion of the phone.. this helps a lot when using a fan to cool the device) NEVER charge and play unless your device have (bypass charging) feature. Peace and Love from Trinidad❤.
I have a Redmi turbo 3 snapdragon 3genS , zenless zone zero , snowbreak containment zone , genshin impact , all run smoothly and all game are similar to wuthering waves however only wuthering waves gives stutters after the update
Hi Semb! Everyone is having absurd ping fluctuations in this game on mobile - that’s another big issue that needs more attention from the developers unfortunately. Thanks for sharing!
Even as PC user I can say that game was working very well, before 1.2 update but after it started cutting terribly, and it's weird because I have quite decent Gaming Laptop with NVIDIA RTX3050 graphic card, 16 GB RAM
I have something similar, and I think it has something to do with nvidia boost /boost + not being properly optimized. Switch between off, on and +. I found that to cut my stutters.
even in recommended setting i suggest just play 30 fps with high reso but low in aa if you want to play for hours but if you want to go 60 fps (still no lag) but it will lag when it overheat and your fps will start dropping so in this case you must play with fan or don't even bother with 60 fps unless you only play for a while.. i never got a lag/stutter problem with my phone luckily but in the past i quite often encounter bug.. but one thing that ppl didn't mention is i suggest you have 16gb ram srsly i mean 8 is fine but trust me and go 16 and you will have a smooth phone experience playing wuwa
yea I have the OP 11 and the 16 gigs and SD 8 gen 2 can easily run this game, It doesn't even heat up a lot if I keep it on balanced mode and yea, overall a pretty smooth gameplay with no stutters or lags anywhere.
i don't wanna spend another phone just for this game. there's ganeshin anyways much better fps. wuwa is just absurb and underrated game. i love their graphics but fps framedrop is worst.
This is why they're losing out on revenue. It only works decently on high ends or PCs. Lowest setting still gets higher temps than Genshin on High setting. I retried at v1.3 but they broke the game's audio and had more stuttering. Will keep doing it per patch to see if something improves. For an action game with no equivalent gameplay like Genshin shields/tanks, the optimization issues are a nightmare.
device: Xiaomi pad 6 I try the recommended settings is working find in combat 20 ~30 fps but reset setting the device actually helps so keep in mind if it's tell lag reset it
Hi John! Turn it off if you need to improve graphic performance, this gives some shadows to ambient objects (environments) - on mobile screen it does little difference. Hope that helps!
Please help me 🙏 I don't understand anything about this subject I have A Galaxy Fold 5. Curent set load says (overload) but I don't feel like it's lagging or anything for most part... maybe I just can't tell ? Lol can you please help me 🙇♂️ am I good to go with these settings? I put Graphic quality ( Advance) Resolution ( high) Frame rate ( 60) Special effect ( medium) Crowd desety) (medium)
Hi Dragon'! If the game is not lagging, and your device is not overheating, do not care about the 'overload' mention in the game settings - your current game settings are fine, just play and enjoy, no worries!
@natojigames thanks so much 😊 just didn't know if maybe I was ruining my game experience for some reason by having my settings that high 😅 Thanks again ❤️
Please someone help me ! This game lagging to much in my mobile i don't know why but, my phone can genshin at high settings but this is too much lagging please someone help 😭😞 !
There's no help bro. WuWa game optimization sucks ass and they made the game in unreal engine 4 isnt really good for mobile devices while really good for pc. Genshin js made with unity engine which works really well for mobile devices also Genshin team have God tier optimization thats even mid range phones can handle higher settings. So the only way is play on a pc or get the lastest mobile devices with high power. Its just a pity that we can't play it smoothly even though we really want to
Hi! Yes you can in starting from lowering down the settings as shown in video, and if you don’t have much frame drop, then you can level them up to the point your frame rates remain reasonable. Hope that helps!
Hi Xros! Start with the high/recommended requirement setting 2 section in video. Basically, put all graphics settings to the highest, but turn off the anti-aliasing. Then from there, just downscale if you have any issues in starting step by step from lowering Shadow Quality to medium - if it still lagging, put graphics quality on Medium - then Resolution on Low while keeping 60FPS along the way. Worth case scenario, you can try the Setting 1 from the video (for the minimum requirements). Hope that helps!
Yea sadly even with low brightness (which is far better for story setting) graphics is still low it’s noticeable on npc having kinda blurry faces but at least there’s no lag
I'm using a Samsung a54, and I have all the right settings and graphics you put on, but unfortunately, I can only play it on a frame rate of 30 4 segment bars are full and there is a tiny inch that goes on to the 5th segment would it still be safe to play
Hi Ethan! Unfortunately the a54 chip, the Exynos 1380 (5 nm), is the equivalent of a Snapdragon 778G which is slightly better than the minimum required SnapDragon 835. The a54 comes by default with 6G of ram, which is the main issue to run the game smoothly (needs at least 8G). I suggest you try on the lowest settings for 60FPS (the setting 1 in the video) and if it works, you can pump up graphics and resolution from there. Don’t pay attention to the top bar, it does not matter at first as this is the game estimating overheating results from your phone. At last, very important, please go find out your monitor refresh rate in your phone settings as the a54 comes with a 120HZ by default - you need to lower down to 60HZ if you play at 60FPS, or 30HZ if you play at 30FPS - otherwise this is the main reason why your device will overheat/screen lagging. Hope that helps!
@natojigames I checked my monitor refresh rate, and I set it to standby, which is 60Hz. Does that mean I can play the game at 60FPS, or should I keep it at 30FPS
60HZ is what is best if you can play the game at 60FPS. As mentioned above, the Samsung a54 barely meet the minimum requirement to run this game, so if your phone can’t play at 60FPS, then set the game at 30FPS.
Thank you for this! Also, might not be related to the video but does anyone know how to fix this problem? The problem is, whenever I screen record the results will not capture the game's sound. I tried every screen recording app and my actual screen recorder on phone and yet nothing happened
Thanks Kuro! Please feel free to share your device/model name about your audio issue while video screen recording. Nowadays, most mobiles come with internal screen recording features and should be able to find out your audio option/issue. Cheers!
@@natojigames My phone is Realme 10 Pro RMX3661. I even emailed the contact support and said they don't have the solution to my problem yet. It works fine in 1.0 but then suddenly I got this problem 😔. My screen recorder works fine in every app, it's only doing it on wuwa
bruh snapdragon gen series to play this game smoothly? people claim they're safe, no issues at all. Dude the game had worst fps framedrop that kuro everhad in their games.
Playing on asus rog 6 and yap the game runs like shit, from having the 1% lows at 0 fps to the occasional rendering issues(every couple of hours) which results in a crash. As for the avg fps around 45ish and highest fps around 57. I feel like a lot players who report no issues actually cant tell when the are having them, if you are having the screen freezing for like less than second and just continue normally it means you are having performance issues, it means your game went to 0 fps and back up to normal in less than a sec.
Are you sure you have a legit phone?, because my friend has a similar phone yet I've never seen the game had any problems, his phone runs fine even in 60fps. Moreover why not try using a phone cooler because they really help a lot especially in long gaming hours
@@mekishime7246I have the aero cooler 6 and true it does keep the device at 37-38 degree on heavy load. As for phone, yes it is legit there are multiple ways to check including serial number and contacting Asus which I did since I order it abroad, there are also specific test you can do on Android to check for that. As for these data well the game runs at 50-60 running around and flying and in fights it drops to around 35 and goes up(generally it's to be expected to have lower fps in fights), ergo average fps is around 45. But when you do detailed testing you also look for the 0.1% lows and 1% lows. The 1% lows effect is easily noticed, if your game is running around 60 then you got a stutter(the game kinda freezes for a ms) it means the fps dropped too low and went up. I notice that every 10-15 mins and it's manageable and not gaming breaking but if your playing a game that requires high skill level fights such drop Fs you up. And for the rendering issue like the mountains floor and Everything disappear then comes back miss shappen that happened to me around 4-5 time in my 35ish hours of gameplay. So the game is playable and looks good but I can't engage lvl 100+ bosses because drops in frames ruins it
@@mekishime7246The phone is legit, since I did check once I got it. There are multiple ways to check like serial number, contacting Asus and Android and some features that you can look into that helps identify the phone, which I did all that since I bought from abroad(a year ago)so I had to be sure. I do also have the Aero cooler 6 which keeps the temp around 38-39 degrees on heavy load. As for the performance let me gave a better explanation, the game runs 50-60 fps while exploring and in fights around 35-50, argo the average is around 45. But when we do performance analysis we also look indepth at other state that can be noticable when playing, 0.1% lows and the 1% lows those 2 will not be notified on the normal fps counter as that counter update every second. However the 1% lows is noticable by the player if it's drops too low. Both happen on the ms level but if 1% lows dipped to low like 5fps usually it means for a fraction of a second your device didn't generate an frame and then continued normally, one can tell if the game frooze for less than a second(stutter), a lot of times you would miss a dodge or a parry because of it. As for the rendering issue it happened 4-5 times in my 36 hours of gameplay. All in all the game is playable and looks great, and those micro stutters happen every like 15-20min, but in a game that requires some skill for harder bosses like lvl 100+ it's hard to beat it because 1 measly stutter can cause you to miss a dodge or to change heroes and that is frustrating. The game needs optimization, genshin and tower of fantasy had no problem at all not even in boss fight, those 2 stayed 50-60 while wuwa just not.
That’s an underrated comment here, thx astra! I did cut a line while editing, about the game reaching 100G of storage on mobile by December if they keep adding such heavy patches and.. for very little new world/content overall. RIP for now.
@@natojigames idk man, i just know that last patch was arround 11gb, its the size of the entire game, they changed every texuture and the quality of the effects shadows and ecc. But the point is in my personal opinion the game visual now is worse then before, with less deepfield ecc, and with worse framerate, idk what they had in mind but everything they did for mobile is just got worse, at this point i would roll back to the 1.0 My framerate was Much more batter in 1.0
Hi Cheroz! Battery saver features do lower phones performance, it varies from brands, but better to turn this off if your device struggles to run the game. Hope that helps!
worst and worst??? I played on mobile I have no encounter lags or any problems , Please dont make FALSE statement, If you having problems in your device, dont say its for all mobile
Todays smartphones and their cpus are a joke. Ive got oneplus 12 with Snapdragon 8 gen 3 12 gb ram so its quite powerfull right?? When i start the game its like 50 - 60 fps but after it reaches 40 - 41 degrees Celsius it cuts the performance and fps drops to 20-30 during fights. 41 degrees!! Human body is able to reach 41 degrees during serious fever. My gpu in my pc gets 72 and it ok for it. My cpu in my pc gets 70 degrees and it ok. But phones at 41 are starting to be unusable. My old asus rog 5 was able to reach 45 - 46 degrees. What happened to that "new technology" its insane and sad :( Btw. Are u playing this game on asus phone ? :) i noticed the asus system monitoring feature on the screen if im not mistaken :)
I'm using an Asus ROG 6 it has the gen 1. And as for the overheating, well that number you see 40-41 is the system not the chip, so usually around 40ish degrees it means the chip went above 60 degrees. How do I know? Well my Asus armory crate shows CPU GPU and system temp, but only displays system temps in the overlay, so ya your chip is definitely hitting 60+ degrees
