10:12: It's all about chopping out. This piece was chopped out by France from the Holy Roman Empire under Louis XIV in 1648, following the Peace of Westphalia. 1870 Germany chopped it back, then France in 1918, Germany in 1940 and France in 1945.

Well... Serbia killed the Austrian prince, Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia. Serbia was allied to Russia, Russia was allied to France and Britain. Austria-Hungary started the war, Germany started the world war

2:51 is a little bit off. Germany haven`t lost on any of their fronts - it would have been more accurate if small (black,red, gold) German balls waving allied flags came out of the Kaiserreich Germany ball, since the inhabitants and soldiers rebelled against the Kaiser.
