German Army: 3000 Artillery 1.7 Million Infantry (700,000 Reserve Forces) 2000 Rocket Launchers (Customized German Soldier) 5000 Machine Gun Soldiers (Customized German Soldier) Allied Forces: 2000 Tanks 1.2 MILLION U.S Soldiers (Special Forces, Assault Soldiers) 1 MILLION French Soldiers 1 MILLION British Soldiers
When the Canadian landing craft first hit Juno Beach there were ten of them. 100 yards apart. There was a total of eight waves. One of my uncles was in the 3rd wave. He said that the last five waves were to replace the guys in the first three waves. One company hit the beach with 132 men. Eight of them left the beach under their own power. That's 94% casualties.
In reality 133,000 troops were dropped (still biggest amphibious assault in history) on normandy not 3 million. What is shown in the video is the total amount of soldiers fought at western Front.
Research ! .. there is a battle in the history.. gelibolu.. Turkey vs anzac. Australian/british colony Two bullets hit each other... in the air.. many bullets. Many losses both sides lay next to each other. We are brothers in arms. TURKs and Australians became brothers.
Hello brother, I am Australian... My Great Uncle was in Gallipoli and was lucky to get over the hill. They played football with your soldiers many years ago in a ceasefire and ate meals together when they were very tired. Then they had to go back under ORDERS to fight again inland:( Yes Australia and Turkey Stand Together!! Take care my friend. RIP TURK and ANZAC That fought and died on the beaches of your Country🙂
The war is not so intense. In reality, if the Allies want to capture the defense of such a terrain, they must have air force support bombing and naval artillery, otherwise they will suffer heavy losses.
@@ernestogastelum9123 In the end I’d say it was more of an aerial bombardment failure than naval seeing as how a number of naval craft (destroyers and even a couple battleships including the USS Texas) sailed far closer to the beachhead itself then what was ordered by the fleet admiral so as to provide cover fire for the landing troops. Other than that I’d say lack of armor. General Bradley had asked for some of the specialist type of tank (the DD tank) needed but it wasn’t produced enough for there to be some available on all beach heads. The long and short of it is the troops on Omaha, given the shit hand they were unintentionally dealt, did a damn fine brave job in taking the beach.
It's a good cartoon. But in reality, France surrendered to Hitler after two months and served coffee to German soldiers for the rest of the war. Britain spent the whole war on its own island and in Africa. The US sat on the ocean and waited for the German troops to weaken, and entered the war against Hitler only in the last year of the war so that the Russians wouldn't get all the spoils. And only the Russians saved the world from the Nazi plague by destroying 80% of Hitler's Wehrmacht, along with the elite SS troops.
Soviets were invading countries too. Poland... finland... Lithuania.. etc. They were a big help in stopping Hitler but they weren't very innocent and definitely needed lend lease and american help. Remember the Japanese kicked russias behinds 40 years earlier? Well imagine no usa against Japan. Why can't people just recognize that the body counts would have been much higher without ussr or america involved. Lucky for the soviets.. america had a choice to help. The Russians did not have much of a choice.
At that time, there was:) Now, no one is crazy and just rushes up and fights like that: now when we fight, there is no strategy to ask because both sides end up with quite high losses. You should not change the war Third World
Les canons allemands auraient pu tirer sur les bateaux avant leur débarquement et les soldats allemands auraient du rester cachés sur les hauteurs derrière des fils barbelés et ne pas aller sur la plage.
Awesome fight however if I am not mistaken where were the tiger tanks and didn't they start shooting at the landing craft as they got off apart from that I love this stuff it's awesome
And what does France have to do with it? There were many times more Frenchmen in the army of Hitler and the SS than in the army of the Allies! The SS Charlemagne Division is French, the last one defended the Reichstag in 1945!
3000 French soldiers including 300 commandos took part in the Normandy landing and 230,000 landed in Provence, 112,000 others landed in Italy, 10,000 in Corsica...
@@antibash691 The D-Day Landings on the Normandy beaches took place on June 6, 1944, led by 57,500 American soldiers, 58,815 Brits, 21,400 Canadians, and just 177 Frenchmen! On D-Day, Allied forces consisted primarily of American, British and Canadian troops but also included Australian, Belgian, Czech, Dutch, Greek, New Zealand, Norwegian, Rhodesian and Polish naval, air or ground support. My bad, forgot about the 1 commando group of 177.
The AI engine is very basic, and the same level of complexity as the original Command and Conquer red Alert game. Infact this seems to have no IA at all, but it would be impossible to have a million plus units all moving independently. These units are all copy a paste of the exact same thing with grafics shared between multiple units to save CPU.
British soldiers using muskets and in 18th century british army uniform ? Modern us soldier with M4 in ww2? and French soldiers in d day landing ? Lmao
This Battle is a mockery to The Brave Soldiers who fought and lost their lives on that Day - To have them charging so senseless 😒 - The Germans Were way more entrenched & their defences were far more dangerous and effective then simply charging the enemy like an Army of sword & Shield - This Battle should not be called D-Day and should be Called - E-Day just to differentiate between the two
