I honestly hoped that Portugal would’ve won. If it can get early alliances and other strong nations like the USA would be distracted by say someone like Cuba, Portugal can easily colonize and conquer Africa and Europe. Usually the Portuguese navy only has to worry about 3 things max. The only reason why Portugal lost was because New Zealand’s capital was at the very corner of the map and is secured by the Indian Ocean and Asia. If the Portuguese navy could’ve held out against the US it could’ve taken out New Zealand and turned west.

As an aussie with a dad from USA and New Zealand, i was very happy with how this game turned out. :)

The reason why portugal was stronger that spain because in 1939 Portugal had more land that spain when you include Africa. so for some reason they win the fight in Iberia. This game is kind of silly for that reason.

Hello, even though this isn’t these types of war games or any type of respected name for the genre, I would highly recommend a game called WorldBox! I know it’s a sandbox game and would seem nothing like the type of genre of this game you are used to. WorldBox worlds could still be made almost the same as the landscape in our world (if you know how to draw things that seem to be on our world map) and there is things like war, independence and soon to be alliances this is only a recommendation for somebody who seems to like the types of genres that I am recommending on this comment, based on the behavior in this video.
