The best missions from this one: D-Day, The tank mission, S.O.E, and the Mission where you save Zussman. Also, never forget Turner. The single greatest Sacrifice in any Call of Duty in history, apart from Ghost.
My great grand father died fighting world war 2 at Berlin he was an IS-2 gunner his tank was hit. Only him and the driver survived but the driver was badly wounded he died a few days later after heavily resisting the Germans by striping the tank of it's ammo and it's small arms according to the driver that survived the entire war. The last words he heard were "nobody knows the true meaning of war not even the soldier who is fighting it knows what, whomever gets to see the end of war are the mother's father's son's and daughter's of the soldier who left to fight another man's war." I never knew what happened to that driver or his family but I wish to meet them 1 day. In the year 1982 my grand father fled the country and came to south Africa. God bless those who fought for us in world war 2
More Than 2 Swiss Soldiers Had Died During WW2 Although Switzerland Was Neutral Some Of The Death Were Caused By An Accident Or By Non War Related Things Or Occurrences.
There are two things that I’ll never forget when it comes to war 1. Don’t underestimate you’re opponent, no matter what. 2. Never have empathy, that’s what gets you killed.
To re-enforce the "never have empathy in war" here's a little story of a soldier in ww1, he saw a German soldier who was wounded. The soldier let him go. It seems like the right thing to do, but that German soldier, was Adolf Hitler.
I had a great uncle who served in WWII and a Great uncle who served in Korea and Vietnam. He was awarded two Purple Hearts, the Bronze Star, the Silver Star, the United Nations medal, the South Korean medal and the Cold War medal. He passed away 2 days before Christmas in 2019
it`s very sad when everywhere nobody talking about Polish Heroes this coutry stand to fight firts but no nobody thanks him but in september 1939 they fought to to the end and they waiting for the help that never came ...
Nobody could help them in that position. both the USSR and Germany were invading with no allies sharing borders. Help would of had to fight through either germany or russia to get there and a naval invasion would have been stupid considering the number of troops that could be sent would be insignificant and would be under heavy risk from axis naval and air forces.
my great grandpa was in ww2 he was in the pacific theater . he was a driver on a submarine i think and he broke his leg before him and his crew got deployed on a mission so he had to stay back and he was really lucky because the sub blew up from a torpedo and everyone on bored died. if he was on there i wouldn't have been born .
It's cool to watch any edit like this but understanding the real scarcity, innocency over a common man and the physical and mental destruction behind the war and it's heros is difficult.
This is a work of art these people up there happy that people like you exist you truly appreciate what they did to you and all of us keep up brother may these heros rest in peace
just fell it.my grand father was solder of usA once.He lost his leg on the war in omah beach. His life is so much suffering. But he is happy.Even He said that He wanted to be died for his country.I love him.salute all the ww2 solders.
Sad that no one remembers the 2.6 million Indian soldiers who took part in WW2, raising the largest volunteer army in history of humanity. History is truly what the winner makes it, we Indians were slaves to british raj that's why we weren't credited while british celebrated their victory. Without India, britain would have crumbled before the nazis.
Печально то что в Европе никто не помнит и не чтит Русских солдат которые жертвовали сбой не только ради своей родины но и Европы которую они освободили.
@@gamerone4697 yeah mate, russians really took the biggest hit out of the war, still the world thinks that usa is the winner, red army successfully captured the capital of fascist germany, but still niether the russians are credited for their extreme sacrifices, nor us indians. these people only credit usa and britain, were we not fighting? did we not suffer the atrocities comitted by enemies? human atrocities comitted by the british in india were far more worse than the deeds by hitler, that fucker churchil was no less than hitler for india and it's people. May our motherlands prosper and grow towards glory. jai hind hail russia
I know this isn’t the right moment to say this, but: “And there’s just me flying in an aircraft trying not to get shot down in a war that I’m not even a part of”
My great grand father died during winter war. He was fighting with his squad aginst an soviet battalion, he was sergeant. He and his squad were holding an road what leaded to last hold of mannerheim line. He got shot multiple times at his body, then he died. Respect for everyone who didn't or did fought in world war 2.
Really great cinematic, but the first edit had so much more emotion in it. Depending on the viewer, it is a comparison of emotion vs spectacle. Am more into the emotional impact kind of lad ;P
