I downloaded the mod but it's not even visible in mod section my game version is 1.18 but the problem is mod is not visible I mean I put the mod in mod folder and when I launch the game there are nothing in there

Yo 1st person can make this game timeless. Imagine creating your own maps where you can play as general OR just foot soldiers and still make a significant difference MAN
The way the guns are 2D reminds me of a series of CoD Zombies clones on Roblox, and a WaW clone, since 3D models at the time were extremely poor, so the solution was to use 2D models on your screen.
With some better ambient body movement and slightly better ai this would be almost perfect, also ability to command team or squads etc in first person plus formations - would be amazing, looks really cool anyway
@@theShermanator It's not totally dead, and tbh it's not too different gameplay wise than Assault Squad 2 so i don't think it's that bad either. What it lacks in the vanilla game is unit and faction variety imo. Being said, the Ostfront DLCs feel like a completely different game entirely, with a lot more polish, and are objectively better than the OG Call to Arms. But, given how important infantry dispersion is in modern warfare, you'd think the ability to adjust that in game would either already be there or have been backported, is all i'm saying. Also, side note; the new Finnish scout bicycle unit in the Talvisota dlc is functionally useless with the (admittedly large) map size and you're better off dismounting to run your scout wherever you need him.
The battle did take place, but the story about the situation was a concoction by the soviet newspaper for propaganda purposes. Great map and game mode.
@@theShermanator I downloaded this through the workshop on steam so could that be the issues. I've tried doing it in campaign and through conquest just no luck atm
`The Panfilov Division's Twenty-Eight Guardsmen (Russian: Двадцать восемь гвардейцев дивизии Панфилова), commonly referred to simply as Panfilov's Twenty-Eight Guardsmen, Panfilov's Men (Russian: Панфиловцы, Panfilovtsy), or just the Twenty-Eight, were a group of soldiers from the Red Army's 316th Rifle Division who took part in the 1941-1942 Battle of Moscow during World War II. According to official Soviet history (later shown to be false) they were all killed in action on 16 November 1941, after destroying 18 German tanks and stopping the enemy attack; the Twenty-Eight were collectively endowed with the title Hero of the Soviet Union. An investigation by Soviet authorities, carried out in 1948 and since declassified, revealed the story of the men as a fabrication. Neither German nor Soviet operational documents confirmed the claimed German casualties, and the Germans fulfilled their day's objectives well before the end of the day.[1] Further, not all twenty-eight were killed-six of the soldiers had survived and were still alive. One of them was arrested in 1947 on charges of high treason and confessed to having "voluntarily" surrendered to German troops and to having later joined a German police force.[2][3][4] The findings were kept secret; the Twenty-Eight Guardsmen remained national heroes.`
