My personal collection of uniforms, metal stamps and coins from World War II German. Please note, I am a collector, do not support nazi propaganda #germanuniforms #germanmedals #germancollection
The first uniform is completely WRONG.... First of all, it is not a Wehrmacht Uniform, it is a Waffen SS Uniform corresponding to an Untersturmführer (second Lieutenant), but with the wrong shoulder pieces. Also, an SS Tunic would NEVER have the Eagle over the right breast pocket. SS Uniforms had the Eagle (a different one, at that) only on the upper left Arm. Also, the placement of some of the medals is wrong, and the Party insignia was NEVER part of the Army / Waffen SS Uniform... Further, you show several shoulder pieces with a big swastika on them. That is completely wrong !! I love your collection, but a bit of historical accuracy would be appropriate....
It's nice to know that there are others out there that know 3rd Reich uniforms and insignia. I really do appreciate this fellows collection but I would recommend that he read a few books on uniform insignia of the 3rd Reich before he puts together anymore uniforms in his display case. Just saying...
Yeah I hate to say it but this guy doesn’t know what he’s buying, nor does he know how to represent it accurately. I feel bad for these kinds of collectors, what are you going to do though.
The grey one is not a Wehrmacht uniform, Timothy. It's a Waffen SS 2nd Lieutenant's (Untersturmfuhrer) uniform of the 3rd SS Division (Totenkopf) according to the collar tabs, epaulets, cap and sleeve band. But of course no 2nd Lieutenant ever won the Knight's Cross with oak leaves, swords and diamonds (he would have made General with all that!). The black SS uniform has an enlisted man's belt buckle, but an SS officer's uniform (once again, 2nd Lieutenant or Untersturmfuhrer) of the Deutschland Division) but the black border armband belongs with that uniform (SS). Still, it looks like you have a pretty good collection but like me, you have a lot of repros along with your authentics. I know German uniforms can be REALLY confusing sometimes - knowing what goes where, but a little research goes a long way. By the way, I LOVE your action figure of Karl-Otto Alberty from Kelly's Heroes. One of my all-time favorite scenes and movie! 🙂
Excellent comment. Sometimes collectors do not know what they have. Plus, it is high time people making comments learnt the correct pronounciation of Waffen which is "vafen". Hence, not Luftwaffe but Luftvafe
Please don't get mad at people who criticize your collection. The money you spend is yours and you can do what you want with it. If I were you, before the film was published, I would spend a certain amount of money on books and publications dedicated to the collector. I can give you some titles if you want. Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the criticisms you have. In my opinion, these are reproductions and some of them are not "reflected in real objects". So to speak, gently. There are a huge amount of fakes out there. Looks like a few have found their way into your collection. I just hope you are aware of this and have not overpaid for it unintentionally. There are several people who can unquestionably verify the items you own. You can easily contact them if you want. I am convinced that even on the basis of photos they are able to tell what is real and what is not. I am happy to provide you with contact information if you wish. Just let me know.
I agree, Peter. Just trying to help out. Gott knows I have a lot of replica stuff in my collection as well, and it can be VERY challenging trying to get an accurate repro uniform together....
Knights cross with Golden oakleaves swords and diamonds? There was only one and that belonged to Tank buster Hans Ulrich Rudel.Think you got a remake.Your Wehrmacht uniform is wrong in so many ways
You can't knock them for style, I know that for sure! They really did design those black uniforms with all the bits and bobs so well for maximum psychological effect!
Nice collection! I once had a copy reproduction of Erwin Rommel's Africa Korps uniform tunic. Some of his reproductions are expensive and very hard to find. That was 20 years ago.
2nd reply for the bashers ,If you pay close attention, 9 times in the video I say ,imitation, copy, reproduction, except for stamps, over 20 2and5 mark coins scattered about ,2 soldbuch etc that are 100% genuine! Post a video of all your real stuff if you have any! 😎👍
5:02 Just there, to the left of the Luftwaffe patches, are two small metal eagles, one gold and one silver. Can you tell me more about them, please? I've never seen ones like that before.
I don’t have a ton of money to spend in my collection, but I bought 8 years ago before the prices went to the moon and came out with some great items especially as I figured if I’m going to put my money in something might as well put it in the items that will bring me a greater return later. And 101st airborne items and a few d day recovered items as well. I have a hitler stationary from Berlin in gold with some wine spilt on it the man I bought it from he had a folder full and the one holding all of them was in a special one and could see where the wine was spilt on the outer one and bled through hell could’ve been hitlers personal wine. Just amazing to think about the history of each piece. I know there a lot of fakes out there, but it would eat me alive having fakes in my display the items aren’t cheap so adding those things I feel don’t have a place next to the real. I mean the railway eagle is a cool wall add on not knocking you by any means. I spent years doing all the research I could before making my first purchase. If the item isn’t backed by a dealer I’m not touching it unless I know without a shadow of a doubt it’s real.
I can tell that some of those things came from Reddick Militaria. That wall eagle and Nuremberg Eagle busses also look like they came from RM. Also, another comment already pointed it out, but that first uniform is just wrong. Wrong eagles, wrong medals (some anyway), and even calling it a Wehrmacht uniform is honestly laughable as much as I hate to say it unless it was just a mistake of words. Also, that’s not a Hermann Göring armband, but a cuff title. Still a very nice collection tho all things considered, must’ve been really expensive to collect all those things. Edit: also the cap on the first uniform is wrong. The uniform is just a junior officer, but the piping on the cap is silver, indicating a general or Gruppenführer rank. And that Baton must’ve also came from RM too! I known I’ve seen copies of certain batons on there, but if not, I’d like to know where you got a lot of these from if not Reddick or others like Epic Militaria or Hessen Antiques.
Thank you for your contribution to historical knowledge I have never seen these items up close before though I have read about them. It was interesting to see the Knights Cross to the Iron Cross in Diamonds, Swords, and oakleaves which is the knights cross three times. Also, I would like to say that Nazis were incredibly cruel and evil and one man could have saved the world from them only that is Heinrich Himmler since he was Hitler's "most trusted" Individual and head of his "bodyguard" also if had he stopped Hitler he would have been the most respected world hero, that is, before June 1944. The Nazis were unbeatable on the battlefield except that the "Western Allies" outproduced them and they had the help of "Magic" decrypts. Also, had Hitler given Rommel full operational control of the Eastern Front battlefield he would have defeated the Russians. This was one of his greatest errors and thank God for this since Rommel was the equivalent of Napoleon on the battlefield! Sincerely, J
Well James , Himmler was the mastermind of the death camps , several pictures of him there, a satan worshiper and had the black castle to satan worship , he was no hero , Adolf was too busy giving speeches to know what was really going on! History blames him just like Trump , but himmler was the monster
@@timothy3bucher864 There was no satanism in the SS and Himmler was a devour atheist whose only religious aims were to kick out Christianity and introduce a new SS paganism yes Himmler was bad but that doesn't take the fault of the führer
Actually , Sepp Dietrich was the leading officer of the Leibstandarte (AH's bodyguard) , Heinrich Himmler was the Reichsfuhrer SS, which made him the leader of the entire SS and the Chief of police. Before the war started and they where transformed into one of the 4 SS - VT (VerfugungsTruppen) or firts Waffen - SS divisions , the Leibstandarte , although technically also part of the SS answered to none other then the Fuhrer himself. Dietrich even denied Himmler the entrence to their barracks whilst they fell under his command.
@@GERMANFORLIFEMEL I have deleted my comments this guy is a whack job. He made other videos reading the Bible and making assertions then another video showing all his scars resembling those of Jesus's and pointing out to Stigmata and his possible chosen by God and his being a re-incarnation of Jesus. Go see his other videos....especially his stigmata one! I am out of here!
Interesting collection sir, though medals and insignia seem to be historically incorrect on your tunics. Several individuals leave comments on your page in the negative regarding the " correct " presentation of Nazi uniforms because these pieces and artifacts are so well appreciated, sought after, and generally loved throughout the world, that it's uncomfortable to see an incorrect display anywhere... Let's also answer the reason " WHY " these pieces are so well loved. In my opinion, and it's only an opinion. People the world over " Love Villains." PERIOD! How a small country's armed forces could be so fierce and tenacious in battle when facing overwhelming odds is nothing short of admirable. Complete admiration... The Nazi Uniform by far is the most Elegant, Regal, Sexiest, and just pure " BadAss." uniform the world has ever and will ever see! PERIOD! The medals, the insignia, the pomp, and the pageantry of this regime were breathtaking! I am not a nazi sympathizer, nor do I condone the atrocities that were committed in those times. What I am is a simple collector. Having spent about $650,000.00 U.S. dollars on my collection. If anyone really wants to be thoroughly impressed by a collection, there is one man in The States who has probably spent $ Millions on his museum. This gentleman. ( www.thedragonman.com) is in Colorado. He has everything. From authentic Nazi Uniforms and uniforms of all of the WW2 combatants and their equipment, to the striped clothing of concentration camp prisoners and the Zyklon B poison canisters used to liquidate them. His website is a must-see! No one really has a profound interest in the Boring ass, dull, lifeless uniforms of the Allied forces during the war! So they are not as desired as the Axis pieces and accouterments. So, there you have it! " LONG LIVE HISTORY."
I hate to say this but mostly reproduction items in this video. Many of the descriptions are also incorrect. However thanks for sharing and fun to watch as one or two nice items.
If you show me a book in wich the minute 12:44 belt bukle is shown i give you a real one. That is totally different by the way. This video hast to be a joke, just the stamps where original😆. The owner has never ever even glanced at a cover of a book about militaria.
Rossi , apparently you are no expert ,you didn't see 2 soldbuch , the stamps, 20 , 2 and 5 mark third reich coins scattered about . Come on man , show me all your "real" stuff ! I mentioned 9 times in the video about my items , reproduction, copy, imitation
The belt buckle is debated as being a fake but not proven, it is also not third reich but ww1 , the totenkopt was used way before ww2 by Prussian general and his men on their hats! Prove to me it's a fake !!! Show me documents
Wow that's some collection. You should have heads for the caps and helmets though. Lol "the SS, the bad guys" The dolls are also impressive. This mist have cost a lot of money. Have you thought about who you might pass them onto one day?
I Purchased Two SS Items today on a Flea Market in Germany......A SS Seal Stamp! Saying "SS" and a Silver Pill Box with a Fat "SS" engraved on Top This Stuff still makes me Sweat when i find them!
Great collection mate. But ppl think you’re a Nazi anyways. I love collecting German ww2 but it’s very expensive as you well know. I have the train eagle as well. But that first uniform is an SS uniform but with a Wehrmacht eagle, incorrect
Check out the grand cross of the iron cross, only 2 were awarded during the 2nd world war, Herman goring gave himself one, and the other went to a fighter pilot I believe, another interesting story on you tube
Only one was awarded, to Goring. The other your talking about was to Rudel, it wasn't a Grand cross. It was the knights cross in gold, oak leaves, swords, and diamonds, one of a kind. He received it after he destroyed his 500 tank in his Ju 87 Stuka.
A lot of mistakes and inaccuracies. You should consult some good books on this subject. I mostly collect USAAC and Luftwaffe stuff but I have some SS, Kriegsmarine and army stuff as well. There’s a lot to learn on this subject.
Repos vs real comments , 1st I have updated my collection to over 100 real items , new video coming soon! I have both repo and real now! And it will stay that way ! Some real items are unattainable, example "the iron cross of the grand cross " was only awarded to goring ! Only 1 and it was destroyed in a fire! So I wanted the repo of it and I have the repo of it , same as the grand star of the iron cross ! One word about the all real or nothing collectors! A small amount of real items exist in the USA and world , if you eliminate all repos the already high prices would increase to where only multi millionaires could afford a collection of real items !
Nice collection but as far as i know ss uniforms were black only the wermact wore grey.Do you have authentic items or are they all reproductions? Not that it really matters for display reasons but the real stuff is worth alot.I find it hilarious nobody collects allies stuff only the german stuff lol
Initially The SS "Shutzstafell" Translates To Protection Squad. They Were Issued Black Uniforms In The Early 1930s Not Sure The Exact Date Or Year But They Redesigned The Uniform In The Late 1930s And Issued Them In Field Gray Just Like The Regular Wermacht Uniforms In Color But Not Design.
All copies, you said twice this is the iron cross, when in fact it's the knights cross of the iron cross, you had gold ones, which means it was awarded 5 times, these are very rare, not many were awarded, usually the fighter pilots got them, apart from one or 2 tank commanders, there storys are out there, on you tube, very interesting storys,
Ce qui me dérange c'est l'actualité où on soutient Z armée qui affiche des insignes de la division S.S. "DAS REICH" . BRAVO! pour votre magnifique collection.
Never gonna find more handsome uniforms. I am not in any way a promoter/follower of any nazi ideology. Just talkin about strictly uniforms and their appearance
Btw not being a bad person but everything that you have is a reproduction. Everything is not that high of quality and there is no way that almost everything in your collection is perfectly mint
Apparently you are no expert, there are real items in the display, one being the soldbuch I opened , the stamps? What about the over 20 , 2 and 5 mark coins scattered about ???
@@timothy3bucher864 is that the only real items you have? Do yourself a favor and research about the supposed “real items” you have in your collection, make a new video about what you have discovered.
That SS uniform is not bad.. but the eagle on chest is not hitorical accur. samdewith the metal thing on leve on the top of "totenkopf". and the belt on the Black uniform i never so that someone used this look with GMU and totenkopf on it. interesting
Richard Heydrich 🤣🤣🤣 Sorry but that made me cry a little. 😂 i do like your collection though , I'm an originals only guy myself but I can understand why one would collect reproductions with the prices the originals go for on today's market. Just a little tip though.., invest in a couple of realy good reference books and study the correct way to display your stuff. It will definitely enhance to look of your collection. 😉.
Thanks for sharing. You have a very impressive collection. I wish I could display my militaria in such a way. Too much stuff, not enough room. What's new?
Don't worry about all these guys talking s*** about your collection. It is amazing and very cool I loved it I watched the video Several times excellent well done sir
you really don't know what you have there. that is a grey zz uniform not Werhmact. iron crosses have date of 1914 or 1939. party arm band was for a Gauleiter - party boss. german dog tags were oval and ment to be broken in half. black border is an zz dress uniform armband.
I dont mind focusing on SS although I do not. I also dont mind mostly replica as the cost of original stuff is crazy. I do not understand not knowing the name of pieces, or why you have a wehrmacht reichsadler on the chest of an SS uniform with an SS sleeve eagle. That makes no sense. You dont seem well versed on history. You didnt even pronounce Wehrmacht correctly. How is that a thing?
My reply for the bashers, if this collection was 100% authentic it would be in a vault. I guess you guys didn't see 2 Soldbuchs, all stamps, all 2 ,5 mark coins etc. instead of making fun of my stuff , "post a video of all your real items if you have any!" 👊😁👍
Most of us aren't making fun. Just telling you that if your going to show it off, at least get it correct. Wrong patches, medals in the wrong places, incorrect shoulder boards, civil badge's that would never be worn on military uniform. You know you can easily Google WWII German uniforms and decoration placement. Come on, 2 Bullion eagles on 1 uniform? That would never happen. Whermacht wore the eagle above the right breast pocket, SS wore the eagle on the upper left sleeve. First uniform you claim is Whermacht, but it has SS ranks, shoulder boards and cuff title, SS wore cuff titles on the left, Whermacht wore there's on the right. And it has an eagle on the breast and sleeve, that never happened. The second you called aSS uniform, but the most glaring thing about it was the eagle over the breast pocket, no SS uniform had that. From it's inception the eagle was worn on the left sleeve.
And by the way the first uniform has an iron cross eagle above the first class cross. That was awarded to Iron cross holders from WWI, but the second class ribbon in the button is red. WWI Iron cross second ribbon is black and white, that should be the one the uniform.
Dude, sorry,... but your getting bashed is well earned, why waste money on REPROS when you can purchase AUTHENTIC items????Everything you had in your case was a waste of money, they will never gain in value! Also, you have made no real attempt to know the history. So what is your point of collecting junk? To show off junk to other uneducated people? Serious minded collectors spend decades learning the history! What point are you making by showing off your lack of knowledge of history? Also, almost ALL HISTORICAL ITEMS, the Authentic items are obtainable minus a few things which are out of reach of most people period. Authentic collectors invest in the "history" AND for increases of INVESTMENT value of that item. EXAMPLE: 10 years ago a Luftwaffe Pilots badge was 150., now they are over 1200. depending on the maker. Why would you brag about pissing away money owning junk? I also saw your Soldbuch's and those are reproductions. I would rather spend $100. on just 1 authentic historical item than $100. on 50 fake junk items that will never gain in value. Your logic is flawed! Also posing a challenge to others to post their items up against yours would be too simple. Are you really so desperate to be humiliated? And by the way.....I do own authentic items, but I do not go around showing it off because that leaves the door open for abuses by the public or a target on your home. Serious minded collectors take the time to study the history so as to relate to other people why a uniform was worn a certain way, or what it took to receive a certain decoration, what merits were required to receive the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and each piece added on such as the Oak Leaf, the Crossed Swords and then Diamonds. Hans Rudel was the only German Luftwaffe Pilot to receive it in GOLD That was like earning 5 Medal of Honors. Furthermore, Rudel was the only recipient of it IN Gold and there were only 5 copies made. When you own the real thing OWNED by an individual then you can relate that person's History and what they went through to have earned the decoration. You should read WHAT Rudel accomplished to receive all his decorations. Or read about what all Erich Hartmann did. That would make the collecting MORE exciting to share with other people, the unique characteristics within your collection. Your collection is not unique nor would it hold the attention of any collector or novice. Why? Because, you have not researched the facts of the items.
To Bad many replicas there and the ss tunics have wrong badges of them and the ss uniform of the right looks like an nva cold war german jacket with an green collar i maybe some Addition on it the Buttons where replacet and yea put on some insignia but mixed wehrmacht and ss is not right.
Au weia! Eine SS Uniform mit dem Hoheitsadler auf der rechten Brust, das gab es nie! Ritterkreuz mit goldenem Eichenlaub hatte nur Hans-Ulrich Rudel und das gab es auch nur ein einziges mal!
the nazis were terrible people but damn their uniforms are amazing lookin. Honestly we shoulda hired Hugo Boss to make the British uniforms and the American Uniforms.
Around 10 minutes in your video you said that gold thing was a dog tag that is not a dog tag know it's near a please do your research before you say anything
The hard core guys "original only " also consider a medal or item made after 1945 in Germany, by the original company, using the original dies and machinery, by original employees not killed in the war , using the original metal or correct metal and leftover parts ,,"FAKES yes fake because they were not made before or during the war ! Before the war real relics ! months after the war FAKES yup Made by the exact hands in the same factory "FAKE "
