Two WW2 Veterans have fulfilled their lifelong dream of flying a Spitfire. Dorothea Barron, 99 and Robbie Hall, 101 took to the same airspace that was fought over in the Battle of Britain back in 1940. Dorothea will be 100 next month and reveals how she faked her height so she could join up and support D-Day.
The flights were arranged by The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans.

I wish the presenters would have shut up. These ladies are engaging, intelligent and are very well spoken. I wanted to know more about what she meant by saying that she felt they were fighting for England and not for the UK as a Welsh person may have felt they were fighting for Wales. That was very insightful information and as a Welshman I didn't sense any offence or political bias there. They were there at the time and their thoughts and memories of how people (at least some people) may have felt is the kind of thing that gets lost as feelings and atmosphere are difficult to document and history tends to leave us with nothing more than hard facts of what happened, how it happened, when it happened and why it happened.
