I'm so glad I had the chance to watch this repeat. RU-vid has been offering it to me since it was recorded but I've been behind on just about everything lately. Tonight as I sat down to have my dinner, I spotted this video and thought you would be an excellent dinner guest, and you were! Loved the stories. 😉
I watched this for 26 minutes or so, but there were technical issues, audio dropouts, video lag, blurry image, so I stopped. Will finish it later but probably in small bites. What I saw was very entertaining. I agree with the one who said that you would be fun to hang out with. Wish that were possible, but England is far off. Oh, did you know there is an asteroid named Farfarout? That has nothing to do with anything, but I know you like science, so I thought you might find it interesting. Later.
That's all very worrying -- well, not Fafarout, that's great - but technical issues and England being far off. That's concerning. Thanks: I can't do anything about England, it's a conspiracy of cartographers, but I will worry about the technical quality.
I like you William, you’re great and would love to hang out sometime. Did you move your office? What happened to your books/ desk/ usual filming angle?
Thanks, that’s made me beam. Last week I had to tear my office apart because we had a leak under the floorboards right in the corner. Tiny leak, all fixed now, but it was horrendous taking apart shelves and desks and equipment. I’ve also realised that I’d like to try a new arrangement but really it’s finding the time to put everything back together. So far I’ve got that one corner sorted; if you could’ve seen one pixel to the right or left you’d have seen towering bookshelves in the middle of the floor.
William I feel I owe you an apology. A year or so ago, I had a dig at you for criticising the Kindle Scribe. At that time, I didn’t know you, and was unaware of your dry sense of humour. I’ve grown to appreciate both, thank you for your continuing advice. Yours sincerely a practicing writer.
That's very good of you to say, thank you. But you leave me with one obvious question: have you been using the Scribe all this time and do you like it?
