I mean right away you see the dimensions of the main plate being a lot more accurate than the Luxe. & the slight curve to the side plates help so much.
Went to raw this past Monday and a guy had it and let me handle it, as I handed him my new WHC. Yea I'll be getting this. Great big gold belt. I do with the gold on it was a little shinier I guess but it's hair splitting. Strap was real nice on it too. Felt like a basketball or football.
If WWE SHOP combined the detailing from this, with the gold reflective zinc backing of the replicas they have, they'd have their best World Heavyweight Championship Replica in years.
the "ion" in Champion is definitly smalller than the rest of the word geezzz they sure buggerd up a relatively nice belt with the font sizing and the gold tone.
Looks good. Not sure why they didn't use white stitching and silver snaps to be more accurate to the original Crumrine. The thing that bugs me the most is the font used on wrestling and champion, that ION is a real eyesore.
Yes, it seems like the gold could use a polishing. Other Shop replicas have a good shine like the Undisputed V2 or WCW 91-94. I know the first run is never perfect, so they need to get some feedback and tweak some things.
I noticed that two as this is second one I’ve seen. The design looks great and so does strap but that dull gold paint makes it look awful. It should be polished gold, not that matte frosted paint. Makes it look like it was done in someone’s garage with spray paint.
