When you threw someone through the cage they actually fell through and not slipped to the side, the action was more intense you could do inter gender matches, I think at the time everyone including women bled. All kind of shit on that game. All it needed was backstage
The commentary is horrible because it's either repeated lines and the tone always sounds unmotivated and soulless. It has the tone of that they where watching paint dry.
I'm not actually sure. The clip at the end was from an all COM match. I did quickly try to replicate it (didnt have much time left at that point) but I couldn't work out how it was done. I would assume a taunt though - I just couldn't get it to work / find the right one.
I like how now if you do a charged finisher and the finisher is one from behind then the opponent will stagger to his feet facing away from you. That's a cool little touch. That didn't happen in 2K17. They always got up facing you.
I really love the fact that they've added the Hammerstein ballroom not just as the one stand but as a preset arena itself for create an arena always wanted to see it in the game and the angle models look fantastic definitely can't wait to play as him.
good too see 2k adding the little things into the game which make the experience very life like, hopefully they include more unique commentary in this game, plus if they can do the straps in this game for Kurt Angle, hopefully in future games, or potentially this game we could see it happen for people like Big E and Undertaker which would add a whole different feel to the game
I really like the treatment Kurt Angle was given. The Ankle Lock finisher is much, much improved as it's Kurt's version instead of Shamrock's. While I'm aware the old Ankle Lock 2 from previous entries in the series also had a grapevine ankle lock, this is far more realistic as the old one looked like somebody was giving a grapevine foot massage.. The straps coming down is also really accurate and awesome looking. I'm aware Day of Reckoning 1 and 2 had that feature- but with the graphical capability we're seeing here, it looks awesome. Overall, great job with Kurt!

omg this is amazing! Been wanting Angles straps to come off for years in the svr series! The animation is amazing too! is the straps coming off a wake up taunt? Also does it work on Kurt Angle 06? I know some say it's minor but for me this is a huge addition! Authentic pissed off angle!
Man I wish 2k could fill in that gigantic space in between the crowd and the stage for the ecw one night stand arena. Like just add some more of the crowd
WAIT! I just noticed, when he did the Charged Finisher for Angle Slam, RVD Stood up already turned around! I hope that applies for all Charged Finishers where they have to be facing away from you. BTW: my god whatever match that was at the end, assuming Royal Rumble. Looks Chaotic as all hell lmao.
Is the straps coming down similar to when the rock took his elbow pads off whenever he did the people’s elbow? So like when you go for a charged finisher he takes the straps down then hits an angle slam
That's freaky, because I actually mentioned a few months ago that it would be awesome for guys like Taker & Angle to remove their singlet strap in mid match when they are fatigued & low & behold it's actually happened!!
Holy shit. I'm gonna have the best time doing matches/segments during the time period of 2000-2002. Kurt angle kinda just completed what I was missing. Of course I'll have to download the old smack down stage and Raw stage but it'll be fun re living the old attitude era again.
I don't know about the Super Angle Slam... it doesn't seem to have much "Umph" to it, the ring should shake more and the sound of the body crashing against the mat could be louder, the selling seems okay but a bit short. I'm just nitpicking, but I just think the "Super" or "Avalanche" versions of a move should look and be more devastating.
I do have gameplay coming although not sure if today. I can confirm a new 5 Star! Similar to SVR 07 but not as much selling/impact - Still an improvement over the current one though.

As a Kurt Angle Fan and WWE watcher, i'd expect for my "YOU SUCK" chants to be put into Kurt's 06 theme! Why? Because it's funny as fuck, and that's what I remember hearing when Kurt would come down the ring on smackdown as a kid and I would grab my Kurt Angle Action figure and pump my fists in the air saying "You Suck" even though he was my favorite Wrestler and arguably the best of the best !
I like the idea of angle pulling down the straps I thought that was a good idea years ago. Braun strowman undertaker and Jason Jordan should be able to do it too
I really hope that the straps going down is a taunt and can work with other superstars like Big E, Jason Jordan, and Undertaker. I doubt it thought. It's probably the same deal as The Rock when he does the people's elbow
They need to redo the wakeup taunt so if it's a from behind finisher they don't turn all the way around so they don't do the punch thing to turn them back round thought they changed the wakeup thing when it was angle vs rvd but didn't
