I'm excited! My only tidbit that I hope they see is to work on facial expressions. Bianca had no emotion doing her move on Rhea, neither did Sasha doing her entrance.

Well, it is the 4 year mark for me. '14 & '18 was all I needed or wanted because the in betweens didn't impress me at all. It's 22, so hopefully this won't disappoint. Oh, and '13 still trumps both '14 & 18.....keeping fingers cross for this.

Excited for a new wrestling game after 2 years. I have to be honest that the previous trailer had me more hyped and looked very different from previous 2K wrestling games. However, after this trailer, it looked more like the previous 2k games and animations along with facial expressions seemed off. I don't know. I'm excited but remain skeptical. I'm starting to wonder if this is going to be a truly redesigned engine as promised or the same 2k gameplay with a fresh coat of paint.
I felt the same way when I seen this and once I saw it said Xbox one and PS4, the attire for ult. Warrior and the chair shot animation , I knew and felt the same hurt you did
I was thinking the exact same thing. The facial expressions on some wrestlers doing moves were non-existent and with the spear or any huge slam, there’s barely any impact on the person being hurt. They just land on the mat without any bounce or holding parts of their body for a bit, they kind of just hit the ground and not react. Don’t know if that makes any sense. I really want this game to be good, it’s the only thing I’m good at in the fighting game genre lol.
@@ChrisGrigo The playability is also the most important feature for me. I would love the game if the gameplay was more realistic than in previous 2K games, and I believe it'll be. The gameplay engine is new, you can see the controls in the previous trailer, and there are like 4000 new animations. That's brutal, I wouldn't lose hope at the moment
I was thinking the same. Still looks off...the graphics look prety flat with sharp edges. I think it's the eyes and mouth that need more work to sell the expressions. I hope they can deliver this time 🤞🏼
@Chris Grigo Voices I agree about the wrestling mat having no impact. I've been saying for years that the wrestling mat doesn't bounce like it used to in older 2k games. However, they seemed to fix that in 2k20 after it had been out for almost 6 months to a year. I was pleasantly surprised at how much more impact the moves had with the ring bouncing. I have hope that even if at launch this game doesn't have a bouncy ring, they will update it later
Damn, it's good to be back after such a long break and the game really does look sick this time! Even as a long time fan of the series, I was getting bored of the simulation gameplay, because it really started to feel like the exact same game every year, but now I can't wait!

No sir, the simulation gameplay is what put the series on top...I don't want a arcade wrestling game...I want a game that simulates what I love on tv. Not just a fighter staring WWE characters. They just need to fix the bugs, update the graphics, engine, modes and show great progress.
Edge should be the cover and there should be a mode chronically his career. From debuting as a drifter, to joining the Brood and feuding with the Hardyz, to being with Christian, to being a solo guy, to feuding with Hardy and Lita managing him, Rated RKO, winning the WWE and Heavyweight titles, and finally un-retirement. The unlockables would be attires, the venues, the other superstars, the Rated R title. They could've done so much.
GM Mode is so realistic they added a Nick Khan feature where you’ll just lose random superstars and Vince will change peoples names out of nowhere. You’re really living the experience!

@WWE2K SUGGESTION TO THE TEAM: I think an online tournament championship could be added. Hence, allow the champion to defend their championship every week (possibly a friday). Failure to turn up will allow the contender to earn the title. - Each tournament can host only 10-15 players per week ( in a tournament bracket format) - Consecutive Championships (US , WWE or tag title) can earn a spotlight feature on social media along with their gamer tag This will give players a reason to tune into the game every week What you all think?🤔
A well produced trailer, for sure. I still want to see actual gameplay from an in-game camera angle. I feel like this is like previous Dev trailers we've seen in the past, but I'm cautiously optimistic. The character models look great so far. HOWEVER I couldn't care less about Machine Gun Kelly.

Their hasn't been a REALLY good WWE game in nearly 20 years, all they have to do is go to Smackdown HCTP and improve on that formula which for some reason they just changed and took things away over the years.

I agree. I tried to get into 2k20's story mode, and it gets really annoying having to play someone I can't take seriously... Probably doesn't help I tend to like the heels more than the faces in general, so having to play an incompetent, wanna-be face was rather unsatisfying lol.
It still looks off to me. The facial expressions are lacking especially in moments they shouldn't be. Bianca shouldn't have a dead expression while giving a back breaker for example. There also seemed to be a bit of an issue with the physics on the table collision. It definitely looks more realistic but it definitely looks off.
@@hotcheetos1435 , it's not about it being real, otherwise we'd go actually wrestle. It's the fact that they'll charge $60 for a horribly and poorly made game.

All I would want is something that has a career mode as good as the old smack down games. Hard to believe a game that old still has a superior career mode.
All I can say is I hope they get it right this time so that other company can fix their problems to when wwe2k sells out because they got it right this time.

My only complaints are some of the models look weird a tiny bit, taker should never be restricted to a pre-order bonus and the movement is a bit sluggish/stuttery. Other than that love it.
@@MrPizzaSUS idk. Ive always seen preorder bonuses as stupid. Only ones Ive enjoyed are physical ones like the figures in the heartgold and soulsilver releases. Not saying all digital are bad just saying usually not worth the extra cash.
