@@Chroxicatedbut at least he would've went out like a wrestling hero, what went down was really sad and I feel horrible for Chris and the whole family.
@@kalb390You must be talking about your dad or maybe yourself. Every true wrestling fan knows that Benoit is a wrestling legend and has a huge fan base plus he was a main event talent.
@@iseehowitis9382 Wooooooow...ad hominem time. Why are you getting so mad at me for saying the truth about this crazy monster? Also you didn't debunk what I said, you just told me that you were a mark and an internet tough guy.
Karl Malone was a great basketball player but a horrible person too. That doesn’t take away from how Karl Malone played in the NBA like it doesn’t take away from how great of a wrestler Benoit was.
@@the6footplustree75 Yeah, the difference here being that Karl Malone didn't kill two people. At least not to my knowledge. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Benoit is NEVER getting in the HOF. Even if you COULD make the argument that his wrestling accomplishments should be separate from the horrible tragedy he caused at the end of his life, WWE would NEVER risk taking the PR hit for inducting him. It's never happening. End of story.
Definitely the best technical wrestler ever to enter the ring. Chris was one of the few that made me a fan along with Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker. I hate what Chris did but he was a great wrestler.
A lot was so different for people then,I’m sure he tried getting help or it came from brain injures from his special. But man was he one of the greats, because when his music hit u just knee pain was coming
Just watching the ruthless aggression era again and everytime he made his entrance the amount love, respect and appreciation for him was just next level even as a mid carder everyone knew what a talent he was.
@@ShaunnyLonglegs.Yeah... Had Benoit only killed himself things would be different, but he decided to take the lives of his wife and child. In fact Paul Heyman said something that I think everyone should hear. "He had a choice. They didn't have a choice. You can like what he did in the ring, but as a person he was a piece of sh*t"
the biggest thing I wish to patched into the Game(like a Fake Patch rather jail break the Commentary) wish somebody could Voiced over Cole & Commentary Group so they could talk about his Accomplishments & everybody about the Finishers, Feuds, Rivalry, backstory everything etc. or just take previous Recording from Old Smackdown Games then Put it in here!!!
@@LegendaryHeroponRiki in my Universe Mode Benoit actually won the Royal Rumble and faced Roman Reigns and made him tap in the ring and won the WWE Championship in the main event
I came to terms with Chris Beniot. Honestly one of the top 10 greatest wrestlers ever lace up a pair of boots. But his tragedy is the reason why he isn't in the Hall. And I'm okay with that, he doesn't deserve any love or recognition for his accomplishments. But before the tragedy I think all Wrestling fans should all remember who he was in the ring. Wish this could have been prevented.
@@parkerrusso7579He ain't a monster 💀 if you get hit in the head for +12 years I bet you could do the same thing Benoit did, after all humans are animals but with the hability of reasoning, there are animals that also murder relatives. I'm not defending "this monster" btw.
The WWE can ban Benoit from television and everything related to the WWE universe, but it can never eliminate the image of Benoit as a wrestler in the minds of classic wwe fans.
Yall are so weird. Dude killed his wife and kid then himself. Then still have the need to glorify him as a wrestling icon because he knows how to fake fight really well.
One of the greatest wrestlers ever but we have to separate the wrestler from the person. Do wrestling promoters hold some responsibility for the tragedy that happened, yes but some of the blame goes to him as well. That's the hardest part is we know he had severe cte but did that mean he didn't know right from wrong? We will never know the full answers. We can't forget Nancy and his son who lost their lives by his actions but we can't forget him either. It's just a sad story all around
A lot of wrestling is set up for burnout. Droz passed on this year, which it seemed he was able to get his life together after being disabled by d-lo brown botching. Mick Foley took tons of bumps nobody ever should do. Forgot Benoit had a great theme too, but flying headbutt after flying headbutt, and even stone cold disapproved of his and angles high risk wrestling, and Kurt is mocked as perc angle for those painkillers, which Rey Mysterio also took, and he killed a guy in the ring by accident. The screw jobs to that woman and Bret Hart are awful too, as storylines can be poorly implemented.
I love his wrestling accomplishments but what he did to his family is unforgivable and will always overshadow his accolades. I wish he hadn't done what he did but it is what it is 😢
I don't agree with what he did but I respect his wrestling. He was and always will be one of the greatest wrestlers I have ever seen preform. The energy of seeing him live was iconic. When I was a kid I remember having the chance to see him preform live and I remember when I got a chance to shake his hand and get a autograph. He was the one of the nicest people I've ever met. But with all the concussions he suffered it fucked his life up. It caused him to become the murderer who killed his family and himself. When they did the autopsy on him they found out that he had the mind of a 80 year old man with alzheimer's. Every time he was doing his signature diving headbutt it did more and more damage to his head. So he put his life on the line doing what he loved to do and doing what he loved ended up being what caused him to become a murderer and it wasn't his fault.
