@warmachine3974 I think Edge's model from 2K22 looked like current day Edge. But yeah, for years before then Edge had an awful model. It was like they forgot to put in his eyebrows and facial hair.
@@Ytgotplays21 it seems to me that he's referring to including WWE's current look of Lita in the game, as opposed to the "back in time" versions of her that are available in the game.
They already fix her face, how much more do you need for the game like you can literally port that attire to the current day lita or wait until community creation make Lita attire
I might need to actually get this one. I was very tempted to get 2k22 for the same nostalgic reasons cause a lot of rey mysterious career was like that era that I grew up watching so I knew the game would have alot of that. And now like between there being Cody Rhodes and wargames and then seeing John Cena's thuganomics entrance and classic edge complete with coming out with Lita I'm very interested. Still don't really want it enough to pay full price though.
@@drosereos5879 I just mean in general the content of the whole game would involve this stuff not just that showcase mode would be good because of it. Im not too big a fan of showcase mode in the first place cause a lot has to be censored or completely excluded for like legal reasons and stuff and commentary was the new people. Which I understand why that's the case but that doesn't change the fact that it effects the experience negatively. But my whole thing is just that if it's gonna show up in showcase mode then that means I can use something like thuganomics John Cena in any part of the game I feel like.
I knew they would PG-ify it but this actually looks pretty damn good! I just wish Lita also had a heel solo entrance, but I guess we can make one up with custom entrances this year.
One thing I wish they did is if they will have the retro arenas and screens they should have the original videos for the wrestlers as well not just their names
Eddie’s car is still there from the 2K22 showcase… not a big problem for me but just weird they kept it as it is. Hopefully that isn’t the case for the Wrestlemania 21 arena with the screen still saying “On Now Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio”
I still have that game!! I always thought it was weird he didn't have his signature coat. And his hair was longer. At the time his hair was just barely past shoulder length like it is here
The model for Lita looks pretty solid. Edge's model...is passable, but not great. The hairstyle is slightly off, he didn't have beard then (or at least not one that thick), the eyebrows are far too bold and have this weird unnecessary arch. Plus the face itself just looks like his older incarnation in 2K23 with longer hair.
You are nitpicking to hell. That is the best Edge model since SVR 08 on the 360. He did have a stubble beard, check the photos. And as far as the model, it's the de-aged version of that model, which works out really well because of the beard.
@@reginaldremble2655 Dude, please actually read the comment. I said his beard wasn't thick like it's depicted in this game.. Even you said yourself he had more of a light stubble than a full on beard at this time than a full on beard. Also the SVR 2008 model is good but not perfect, the hair is completely wrong. SVR 2009 and 10 perfected Edge's look. Just because he looks better than previous games doesn't mean the model looks good.
I wish they can capture the environment better during these timelines w these older arenas having a sea of signs in the crowds. Nevertheless edge looks amazing instantly thought of svr07
Eddie tribute Raw arena again? I hope we have those nameplates and tron movies over at create an arena/show so that we can have the red ropes 2006 raw arena
Guess they can’t use the actual “Rated R” logo anymore. That explains why the R has been missing the box around it since the last game. 😢 Still looks great though
The lower third nameplate had a sparks-flying graphic when it popped up during the '06 Raw era (I'm assuming this isn't a fan-made arena), and this is more of just a nit-pick, but this version of Edge used to hump the ring during his slide-in. Small missed detail, but overall well done aside from that.

Finally got prime edge right. Seems like they’ve had troubles for years getting it right. Current day edge looks great too, but prime edge they’ve been getting wrong for so long. Glad they finally got it.

Are they actually the best man/woman pairing when it comes to each of their own individual success? Edge has won the most amount of titles in the history of the WWE, and Lita is possibly one of the most recognized female talents in the company's history through her work with the Hardys and her singles runs.
