Sounds like 2K is taking advantage of whats essentially a gambling addiction.

For people who play universe primarily, the attention MyFaction gets is a kick in the teeth.

Why anyone would spend more than cost of the Game on a ATTIRE is beyond me

Just looked at 2k14's universe mode, and it's pretty much the same as 2k24, 24 just has the option to pick cutscense, 4th slot for rivalry, and 7 title slots. Crazy nothing really changed over 10 years, and the stuff they did add was removed like promos and show intro

You should consider talking about "Create a move" that we haven't seen in years, but I remember over a year ago hearing that the developers said they could bring that back in with improvements since it were last introduced if the rest of the developers wanted it

WCW Fall Brawl would be perfect for My Universal mode as it takes place in 1998-1999.

Do not engage with myfaction at this point we gave them an inch and they took a mile. Imagine if the dev time was spent in universe mode and you wonder why it dosent work they dev time is spent in myfaction

As long as Universe mode exists, i will continue to buy the games. The day it is taken out, is the day i stop buying.

They should put it back in the game; -Stacked tables -Test of strenght battle at the start of the match -chair stucking limbs -ignoring rope break while chooking or doin any other submission -sleeper hold mini game -

Some of the Live Events are fun until you’re a bronze card and going up against an amethyst having to get 60 MFP in a match with a 5 minute time limit. Nah, some of these Live Events are stupid hard and unnecessarily so. Pay walling the heck out of the Persona cards is also just another scummy tactic by 2K that we’ve seen them do in NBA 2K games.

Would be cool if they added in Macho King with Queen Sherri’s entrance and if they add Honky Tonk Mans guitar as a ringside weapon that you can grab rather than having to select it in the weapons wheel.

This pack has me very intrigued - especially when it comes to Sherri (who started wrestling in 1982) and Post.

It doesn't surprise me that the big wigs at 2K are likely keeping the devs from doing more. Hearing interviews from former Madden Devs and every single one came off as having great ideas, wanting to implement what the community wants only to get shut down. When you see what the modding community has done to not just 2K, but Madden and any other games, it's easy to tell how much the devs are being held back by the suits who don't understand gaming. Things companies have said were impossible or would take time, modders have done in a day or whatever, nothing about Universe Mode will change as long as the devs are being held back.

I hope that DLC packs are going to be better, especially for WWE2K25.

Why don’t they just combine all the modes together, where you see cut scenes, you can select a GM, literally create your own wwe experience, cinematic scenes, if you win matches and put on a good show maybe you unlock cards etc, create stories etc. sounds complicated but think it would be good

These unlocks should never be for a limited time. Most of their audience consists of adults who have real lives outside of the game. I don't want to come home from work and feel like I have another job to go to. I want to enjoy a game at my own pace.

2K needs to readjust the prices of card packs

If 2K put My Faction Effort into WWE Universe then the game would be like the old Smackdown vs Raw Series season mode

we all knew this would happen. just like every other sports genre... They always make sure PAY FOR PLAY is the MAIN focus. Universe Mode should priority #1... ofcourse its last...

At this point your best bet is to just go onto cc and find them and download them simple. That’s too much just to get one person.

When setting up a rivalry, just adding the option to choose your PLE blow-off match would be big.

I have created a WCW War Games rules style match just submissions but a roof on top sounds awesome I wonder if it would be retro or the "Saggy Roof" Style lol

Okay so... I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but I had an epiphany last night. I know how everyone's mad about the Pat McAfee pack, including myself. But the more I thought about it, the more I got excited. It's probably gonna be more of a "New Moves Pack" more than likely. Like what they did with WWE 2K14 - 2K19. Because with Pat being the only one with certain moves and entrance, all of the other guys will probably have the craziest move sets and entrances. Kinda like Arnold Schwarzenegger in WWE 2K16. That's the only logical reason I can think of.

Myfaction had the momentum than it was killed when they made it this damn difficult.

I would like to think that 2K might learn from EA loot boxes in Star Wars Battlefront 2 and realise that they are going to lose an original fan base.

I dont understand the cash in for money in the bank for his game. I watched so many how to cash in videos but it so confusing and dumb 😂 i dont even like playing It because i like to plan my universal mode around my money in the bank plans. it just don't work i seen many people have thsi issue. About the Universe mode segment: 2k saying they don't have time is crazy. Give us a small roster update (attires, factions etc) and then take another year to work on the next game! They know we'll buy it. I'd rather wait for quality. Hell just put the clothes in there and let the community update it for us lol but please put some effort into updates

I hate the live events. I can't win. Feels like they are geared toward hardcore sweaty pvp players and not the casual/average 2k player.

The addiction to getting certain persona cards when it comes to the amount of purchases to obtain one card is worse than smoking cigarettes and can’t quit for alot of WWE 2k24 players even though I don’t smoke cigarettes at all 😂 lol. 2K knows how to psychologically get into gamers minds when it comes to the online gambling addition when it comes to spending so much money until you get lucky🤔🤷. If you’re a parent, never trust your kids with the credit card hahaha. I could already imagine the next monthly payment “OMG TIMMY, $1,300 lol

I've always been intrigued by the fact that we have a downloaded section of the arenas so none of this would surprise me. Be great if we can get Fall Brawl with a retro covered war games cage that we could use on the modern ring but might be too much of an ask there.

They could improve the odds by eliminating the filler from the packs. Imagine if when some of us collected sports cards if we purchased a pack and only got one player! They could give us 5 superstars per pack and get rid of stuff that should be available by default like cosmetics. There would be more value if we got 5 superstars, a manager, and either a sideplate or oddity in each pack. They could also throw in a persona card after so many packs are paid for or unlocked. If they don’t want to eliminate the ability to draw a duplicate, how about having a trade market that we can use and more benefits for completing collections. The mode can be improved and lead to more player engagement which can still yield profits. Micro transactions should be an option, not a necessity.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the Post Malone pack when I'm not to play this Post Malone, but I am definitely looking forward to playing some hockey taut man and the headbangers. I could see them giving us give me heart's megaphone but I can't think of anything else

Instead of doing two day PLE's for Universe mode, how about having a 16 match card? Or is it already in there?

Been playing my faction since I got wwe 2k24 today with earning a free pack I got the persona had no idea what it was thanks for teaching me what it was.

We got weapons for ECW pack. An area for the WCW pack makes sense.

For universe all they need to do is let us add cut scenes where we ant and get rid of rivals system. Just combine old create a story with universe. Also, let us edit 4 man entrances. Get rid of spot restrictions so Judgment days entrance isnt shot with Rhea needing to be able to be in spot 1 for it to work right.

After this experience, I’m going to need a serious Universe mode overhaul to even consider 2K25. It’s proven to be worth it to wait for 2K26 if it’s gonna be the same game

I wish they’d bring back either story mode “not my career” where I can pick any wrestler and have a full calendar year with storylines. Why I loved the old wwe games, their season mode was great and if universe isn’t going change it be a good change. However with my faction I’m sure every kid is going keep buying it

Yeah, as long as people are out there spending a small fortune in MyFaction,nothing will change. If Universe mode is copy and paste next year,ill probably skip it. People love universe mode,and want more than a glorified exhibition which i still play cause its the only thing out there.

I would love to see the rivarly system get even bigger. They also need to touch up on some existing ones. Example: There is an action called numbers beat down. Exactly what you expect, and works well for factions. Only issue is you have to be set up in a tag team for it to work. Like why? Also can we go back to MitB not being a rivalry? I enjoy the rivalry cutscenes, but I should be able to just cash in normally as well like in 23. Cause as of right now you can't cash in during PLE's anymore

We want some connection and cohesion in Universe mode. We don't want it to be, like now, a bunch of exhibition matches under Universe banner

Wwe should release a pack where u they drop all the new updates Ple arenas for like 40 dollars or u can buy the arens seperate for 10 dollars each

The casino is open at WWE 2k24... I am not going to lie I was interested in this mode just like everyone else however the amount of extra steps or spending real cash it totally feels as if you are at the casinos trying to win. I would check in at times to receive the loyalty bonus they would shell out and I would be done in that mode. I had the feeling of playing universe mode with downloads of ECW and the creations are so awesome. I give major props to them all for making arenas to the titles and of course the wrestlers we use everyday (at points who knows) plus I had watched how you set up your universe and did something like that to my own which looks awesome I must say. I feel that universe mode isn't getting any better from here on out and it's a shame it truly is. It's getting harder to find videos of people playing this universe mode and that shouldn't happen like that. I'm Lukewarm with the next DLC but it's better than Pat and friends for sure....

Those ECW and WCW MyGM arenas look really good. I went right in and downloaded them, and I found me a few pretty cool...I'm assuming fictional...wrestlers along the way as well. I love really good fictional wrestlers.

I hope the add the original WarGames cage that WCW used with the enclosed top.
