WWE 2K24 Review - The Final Verdict 

I think the simple little touches like the camera flashes are amazing!!

They need to fix the fluidity of movement. they shouldn't be in a fighting stance when the opponent is laying on the ground it looks off.

As a wrestling fan, this is the best game since 2k14

The ring doesn't seem to size right for me when the characters are inside it. 5 steps and they've already gone the length of it.

Loving it so far! Played some GM mode and Universe mode. Still gotta make a character and hop into my rise and also maybe check out Showcase mode.

Loving it so far, although i need look into the settings a bit for 2 player,when i had a match agaist my son we were getting reversals on almost every move.

Myfaction has one thing this year players could want. Persona cards. If you get a Persona Card, it unlocks that wrestler for you to use in other modes.

I wish you could change the controls if you wanted to. I hate these current control settings.

Finally caved and got it!!! Traded in a few games and got it for $21 when Ganestop reduced the the price to $40!!!! A 👍 game that it’ll be hard to top next year’s 2k25!!!

Best wwe game in a long time without any doubt (maybe the best 2k has done period) but there’s a lot of overall harmless bugs that I’ve run into so far and some ways they could improve certain ui elements. They’ve definitely done more good than bad this time, though.

I haven't played since WWE 2K23 was just released. Does it still boot you out of online matches or just freeze when entering lobbies?

WWE 2k18 snd 2k19 was very good. After that they changed the controls in 2k20, which was not easy to play on ps4 and ps5

Fyi folks.. you can play as Brock Lesnar in the showcase mode.. but the final match, you can not use Brock in the Wrestlemania Rumble in showcase mode.

People are so used to these games they look at them through rose coloured glasses not noticing or ignoring or even defending their faults. Think about how long this games servers will be open and when it will be removed from xbox one etc before you spend too much on it. Apart from the fact they will rehash it next year. Wwe2k22 is the oldest title still on xbox one.

Forget 2k14, this is the best game since the SvR games. Those games were actually fun even if not realistic. Wwe12 destroyed the entire game for over a decade. Everything was built on that engine until it died in 2k20. The games engine was broken the first year in 12. Look up reviews; I was there. 2k22 felt like the first “new” game since the SvR games. Every 2k version was just an update to the existing game. Yeah the showcases were cool but the actual gameplay was garbage in 13 and 14 despite how cool it was to get those showcases but these new games feel well, new. Because they are. When 2k got the license, all people wanted was a Wwe version of nba 2k with all the love put in and instead we got a decade of the mlb 2k games where the graphics sucked and gameplay sucked. Now both are excellent even if there’s a need for more content. Having all these wrestlers is great but I want them to matter and universe still sucks. That said it’s an improvement for sure they just gotta keep at it. I’m still seeing championships floating with animations over a decade old. Like come on, titles are the best part so why not focus on making them look the best they can with realistic victories and celebrations? Nearly everyone has that generic Eddie Guerrero style one I swear has been in the game for fifteen years

Showcase mode is still pretty good this year. It is a small step up...not down.

Skipped 2017, 2018. Bought 2019. Skipped 2020. Bought 2023 half off. And they got me again with this one full price. So so far in the last 7 years they’ve only been able to get me to pay full price for 2 games. That’s how bad their games are. They have the ability to make 2k25 the best ever if they make it more explosive arcade action

literally just a copy & paste of 2k23,with a new story in the story modes,my faction was not even expanded on & its a completely worthless mode like it was last time,2k are the perfect example of a company that is lazy & just likes to rinse & repeat

The game is terrible. Every finishing move lands opponents near the ropes almost every time. The reversal system is too random and out of place. I'll just wait for Ultra Pro Wrestling and stick with that.

The Showcase is a letdown. Not enough matches for a Wrestlemania showcase. 21 marches is just low and the slingshot tech does hamper the flow of a match in the mode as you are hamstrung by the micro instructions. But I am interested in seeing the improvements in MyRise

I honestly prefer the playstyle of 2k19. This new version feels more like a wrestling brawling game than a wrestling game IMO. The older gameplay felt and looked more like real wrestling.
